This was our first time eating here.Ordered a burger and fries it was very good. Our waitress took our order brought our food out then didn't come back to check on us until we were done eating.Needed a refill on my drink had to wait till we were done eating for that.Ordered regular gob cake it was awful cake was dry icing had a strong not good vanilla flavor they doused it in chocolate syrup and whip cream at least that helped it out a little.I have heard their food is excellent and to try the gob cake nope never again.

Great home cooked food at reasonable prices. Great classic rock and roll playing in the kitchen. For the ladies who run the place remembering how hot they were in that era! Lol

Was a bad experience. My burger was so bloody ,I didn't eat it. My fiancee had a reuben. It was like they dumped a can of sauerkraut in it with all the juice. Was so soggy she didn't eat it. We told the waiter , he said sorry , are you ready for your check. On the way out we told the manager. She said sorry, we have a new cook back there. Was a total waste of money.
Food was gross.

Paid $3.00 for a Pepsi that tasted like it had been sitting in a dirty line for months—flat, old, and disgusting. I asked nicely for a replacement, and the second one was just as bad. Still got charged for what was basically brown, fizzy tap water. The food wasn't that great either. If this place thinks that’s acceptable, it’s laughable. No idea how they have good reviews.

The diner offers generous portions and great food, but management should provide to-go boxes for bus group.

Great spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Family friendly and cozy atmosphere, lots of seating and a large menu. $$. Try the Turkey club and you'll feel satisfied.

Alright the food was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend eating here. Its spacious, has an antique feel, sells fresh bakery stuff. Only thing is they charge $3 for drinks.

Coal Miner's Diner is a nice, quiet diner to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Good food and service. We went for our first time this morning. Between My husband, our daughter and I, we had omelets, french toast, bagel, sausage and toast. It was all really good. They prefer cash over card and have an atm inside if you need to use it.
I recommend giving it a try!
