Beef Tenderloin Tartare
Egg yolk, shallot, chives, sea salt, red wine vinegar, arugula, and crostini.
Mushroom Confit Pot
Shiitake mushrooms braised in butter and truffle oil with grilled bread, and pesto.
Shrimp Toast
Crostini, lemon aioli, shaved fennel, and celery.
Classic Maryland Crabcake
Heirloom tomato and grilled avocado. Green chile remoulade.

Salads
Warm Roasted Mushroom Salad
Granny smith apples, mixed greens, and blue cheese. Truffled sherry vinaigrette.
Slab Salad
Iceberg, black pepper buttermilk, tomato, pickled red onion, blue cheese, annd bacon lardons.
Caesar Salad
Romaine hearts, pickled white anchovies, cornbread breadcrumbs, and lemon preserve.

Entrees
Grilled Ribeye
16 oz ribeye with browned butter mushrooms and smashed fingerlings with thyme.
Seared Sea Scallops
Shaved fennel, tomato jam, and white corn grits.
Charred Salmon
Black sea salt, crispy skin, roasted leeks, curried cauliflower, tumeric yogurt, and plumped currents.
Seared Pork Shoulder
Barbeque au jus and smashed fingerlings with thyme.
Free Range Chicken Breast
Pan roasted chicken breast, butternut squash, and crispy lentils with chorizo. Sauteed spinach. Chicken jus.
Oven Roasted Duck Breast
Oven roasted duck breast with sauteed mushrooms and turnips. Duck jus, and pearl onion mostarda.
Chargrilled Veal Loin Medallions
Lobster demi-glace, braised french beans, and fingerling potato.

I had a fantastic time playing the harp here!! The Green Gables is a true gem in southwestern Pennsylvania. From the stunning architecture to the delicious food and beverages, this place is great. (Speaking as a musician for a moment: Oh my goodness, what incredible acoustics!!)

I felt like I was in a fairytale dreamland. Definitely check this place out!!

MSJR thanks Green Gables for giving us the opportunity to play there. Beyond that, the food was great! Upon walking in the door, you get the sense of an old timey family owned restaurant. Some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. Our servers were so sweet! Every plate that I saw looked delicious.

If you're looking for a cute spot to treat a date, the intimacy of this restaurant can't be beat!
One thing I will add is to dress warm...

I had dinner here for my 50th birthday last week. The food was exceptional and the service was impeccable. I definitely will be returning. The only thing I wasn't aware of is they only serve water. If you want to drink anything else, you have to bring your own. But it definitely isn't a deal breaker. Get the steak! You won't regret it!
