There is no words that can be said about how awesome this food is. The creativity and love put into each dish resonates through every bite! The three onion soup is absolutely wonderful, the croutons when you finally bit into it is an explosion of flavor that just elevated the whole cup! I opted for the okonomiyaki with tofu to see how their presentation was, I was absolutely astonished! The first bite of the tofu blew me away, then mixing it with the hoison sauce , the cake, cabbage slaw, and mayo...I about died of happiness. This place is the temple you climb the mountain for!

My fiancee went with the duck rendang and it was equally amazing! The multiple notes on the sauce, the wonderfully cooked duck and the roasted broccoli all came together and made it an absolutely perfect dish.

We finished with a ginormous Brownie Sundae and a piece of lemon ricotta cheesecake.

Absolutely the best anniversary meal ever!

"This shit's PHENOMENAL"--my fiance, upon experiencing the Okonomiyaki. It really is phenomenal. The eatery is an unassuming and very relaxed environment. The menu is wonderfully eclectic. The food itself is to die for. All made fresh--truly fresh. Perfectly done, beautifully presented.

After stalking the food truck for basically the entire summer, we went to get our Squirrel fix. Everything was wonderful 🤤. I had the smoked salmon bowl and it was so delicious! Loved the crispy artichokes! Susan, keep doing what you’re doing. You are a ray of freaking sunshine ☀️ ❤️

This restaurant is a gem. We first discovered TFS at the Ligonier farm market, and come from Pittsburgh to eat here every once in a while. Outdoor dining is best. Everything is delicious.

Can't say enough good about The Fat Squirrel. Do not let the exterior fool you! The food here is FANTASTIC! Great combos of flavors. Options seem simple with the most yummy tasting updates. Delish. We will be driving back just for their food.

Food is great. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Specials and soups were never mentioned. We were able to ask the other table to lean in so we could read the board that was placed behind their table. One order was wrong. One of us didn't get their drink til asking 2x. Refills were wrong and she had the audacity to argue, walk away, and shake her head. A new waitress was requested, but never received. First and last time visiting.

This place was amazing, I had tofu pastrami with kale and beat on gluten-free bread and Szechuan broccoli on the side. My mind is still blown. It was so good.

I recently moved to PA, so finding spots to eat other than pizza and Chinese spots (nothing wrong with them, but having options is important to me) Two friends of mine suggested we get up for dinner and they suggested the Fat Squirrel.
I was intrigued and met them for dinner. I got there a bit earlier and had some time to look over the menu... that was a huge mistake in the best way.. EVERYTHING read amazing.. seriously,

I was born in India, and to be honest haven't seen much Indian food places since I have been here in Greensburg. Ive been to the city a few times, but either was busy shooting photography or was there for a baseball game. The samosa chat nachos were absolutely amazing, I can promise you they were amazing cause if I see Indian food at a restaurant I try it and have no problem giving my honest review (I am nice about it, not one of those people who call the chef out and ruin their day lol. But if you are new to Indian food or wanted to try some but not sure where to find it, Please do try it here. The flavors are spot on and remind me of my mums cooking. It does have a very mild kick of spice so if you are not big on spice you may want to pass or ask if they can dumb it down. I loved it as read on the menu and was happily shocked it was that good. (So much so that I did call them and voice my two cents.)

Dinner: I wanted 5 things, let me be honest about that lol, BUT... I kept some dignity and ordered the Steak medallions and steak fries, The sauce and flavor was specular and the combination of the small breaded onions and mushroom risotto (I could be completely wrong on that part) but I also didn't stop to find out. I get my steak medium rare and it was nothing shy of perfect and medium rare. Again not a complainer but I feel as if they give you the option to have it cooked how you want it, id hope said place get it right. They did. It was perfect.

The dessert: My friends told me the carrot cake here is to die for, I love carrot cake as that was my mum and I favorite as well. I didn't get it, like I didn't get a few of the other dinner options *BECAUSE I KNEW IT WAS A GREAT EXCUSE TO COME BACK*

So I did what any person would do and read the dessert option off the wall that read BLUEBERRY PIE SHAKE. Yes, you read it correctly. If you wanted to find out how it came to the table... don't worry baby bird, I'll feed ya.

Tall 1940's diner ice cream shake tall cup

Vanilla / blueberry ice cream (again could be wrong but at this point I don't care the food won and I let diabetes take over.)

Stay with me, the best is coming..

Okay, so at the brim of the tall glass you see pie crust around the brim. Raj, what's holding the lovely pie crust to the brim??? Yes, yes indeed, it was vanilla icing

but wait....theres more.

A perfectly cut slice of blueberry pie sat on top of the glass to finish the Picasso looking dessert.

As far as suggestions on how to eat this... I did this. I don't think it's wrong but I also don't care. I set the pie on a separate plate and just took a bit of everything. Started with the frosting/bite of pie/and chased it with vanillabluberry liquid ice cream and that's how you achieve supreme Itus OR food coma there really is no wrong conclusion or ending.

I am going to leave the HOW MUCH DID A PERSON SPEND blank or if I have to click it I'll guess as my friends did not let me see the final bill.

Parking: its a small lot, I am sure if you asked an employee they can better assist you. There is a dollar tree across the street, and I am sure if you ask the manager on duty if it is okay to park there, they might say okay? Not sure, but worth a try.
