“I can not thank this Bakery enough for saving my son's birthday dinner. We are traveling and due to an unexpected reschedule, the cake I had ordered was now in a city 2 hours away. I phoned them with 3 HOUR NOTICE, asking to text them as my son was in the vehicle. WITHOUT HESITATION he obliged and had a cake ready for my son in 2.5 HOURS with a semi custom request. The kindness of this bakery is above and beyond and why I only support small businesses. Without their kindness, my son's birthday dinner would have been a disappointment, as all he asked for while on vacation for his birthday was a hamburger and Minecraft cake. “Barbour’s has been around for as long as I can remember. I used to stop in when I was a kid, and now as an adult, I love stopping in to this gem when in town. When seeking a birthday cake, Barbour’s is where I go! The cakes are beautiful, delicious and reasonably priced. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and gracious. Recently, I worked with Janet to create a masterpiece of a wedding-style tiered cake for my in-laws 60th anniversary. It was stunning!! Barbour’s not only literally delivered the cake to the venue, they delivered a beauty. Thank you to Janet and all of the other friendly folks at Barbour’s who are so helpful. No wonder your longevity—you put quality and customer as number one!“

“Absolutely loved our experience at the Queen of Tarts Desserts bakery pop-up today in Archbald! It's such a cute and comfy space — the kind of place you just want to sit and stay awhile…especially since there are so many gorgeous baked goods and beverages to choose from. This team of young ladies worked hard to beautifully display their amazing selection of scones, tarts, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cannoli, cheesecakes, and more! It's clear the team puts a lot of thought and effort into offering a variety of fresh, delicious options — everything looked fantastic, and what I tried tasted even better! The young ladies working there were so welcoming and polite and worked well together even though it was consistently busy. You can tell they really care about providing great service. They made sure everything was as ordered and followed up to ensure everything met our expectations. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude really added to the overall experience. The chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter filling and peanut butter icing were a huge hit! My personal favorite was the carrot with cream cheese icing. Deeeeelicious!! “This review is a little overdue, but better late than never. If you saw her post/reel using the dinosaur and the dinosaur cookies, they were for the baby shower of our goddaughter and her husband. The nursery theme, if you didn’t guess, is ….. 🦖 🦕! Not only did the cookies look phenomenal (dinosaur royal icing cutouts and ricotta cookies with vanilla filling rolled in blue and yellow sprinkles), they were delicious and a big hit at the shower. Easy to work with, timely communication and creative ideas. Do yourself a favor and go on over to her Facebook page, follow and you will be able to see where she will be offering her baked goods and treats. I’m sure that you will become a fan too…..on our third order for an upcoming party, just saying 😋😁!“

“I had bought some cookies for a gift. I put the order in online and told to pick up at a certain time. First i showed up right on time thinking they would be good to go. This was the first time I tried them. They were not ready when I got there. I was in a rush so that turned me off immediately. The cookies look beautiful and are designed pretty nice. For me. I am more of a simple cookie person. You put chocolate chips in and I'm good. However if you like that sort of thing I would say go for it. Just be prepared to wait a few extra minutes if you order online. It wouldn't be fair of me to say that all the frosting and extras aren't for me because most people like that.“

“We had one evening in Scranton, and I was the one grabbing sweets for our groups dietary restrictions. I called Donna and asked if she would be able to accommodate. She went above and beyond! The GF-Vegan Cupcakes I ordered were waiting in a box for me, and she was so patient since we came right at closing time. Her flavors were DIVINE! The love and care that went in to our treats was something special! I love pretty food, but what a win when the food tastes better than it looks! Thank you Donna! “This place is amazing! The staff is always very, very generous, and they always get my order correct. When I placed a pre-order for Christmas Eve, they were very accurate and kind. The review insulting these teenagers, who are trying their best, is very inaccurate, and very low of the poster for insulting someone way younger than them. I do not understand how you can get mad about Cinnabon, when everything is in order, cleanly, and accurate, especially coming from kids still in highschool.“
