Admittedly, I have been visiting this gem of an establishment since it opened a few decades ago. Typically, my husband and I would come for Valentine's Day every year when we lived in the Valley, but it had been some years since our last visit. Quite a few years, honestly. This time, my sister and her husband (who'd never been) joined my husband and I for Valentine's Day. It was much to my delight to see the very same servers from way back -along with the owner's/chef's beautiful wife! Although it was incredibly busy for Valentine's Day, and we expect there to be a limited menu, we all had something we enjoyed and the service was fantastic. Although true, I had been dining here for many years, I somehow never had the ravs until this last visit. I can't stop thinking of them honestly. I usually order chicken of some sort or pasta with three sauces. The meat ravioli in red sauce is second only to the Ravioli I had at Il Bargello in Florence, Italy last March. THAT good! The capaletti is fantastic also-be it in soup or as an entree with sauce. Perfectly al dente pasta stuffed with flavorful meat- how can one go wrong? I felt somewhat guilty for knowing this place so well and not having written a review of Pietro's years ago, but having gone back years after not visiting -and absolutely nothing changed, says a LOT for a restaurant in this area. Pietro's is second to none as far as Authentic Italian food in the Valley/surrounding area is concerned. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for local, good food at a fair price with generous portions and friendly service. Thank you, Pietro's for many years of good food and fantastic memories! A friend of mine recommended this place about 15 years ago and we have had dinner here periodically for that long! We are not local but have always felt warmly welcomed ❣️. Recently, we introduced friends to the restaurant, and they love it as much as we do! We love the ambiance and coziness of the bar area! The food never disappoints but am partial to the stuffed mushrooms and veal Marsala—-excellent chicken parm and haddock Gomez also! I am sure all the other entrees are good! Desserts are all homemade—-particularly love the lemon dessert! Trina and Wayne are excellent servers( and are part of the family)—service with a smile and great humor! Get there ! You won’t be disappointed ❣️

Best fine dining (but not pretentious) Italian restaurant in the area, bar none. Don't miss the tomato basil cream sauce and be sure to try their creme brulee. Once you have had Pietro's creme brulee, it will become what you compare all others to, and they will fall short.

After they sat us at our table, no servers came to introduce themselves or take our drink orders. In fact, none of the staff even acknowledged our presence. After 30 minutes passed, another group was seated at the table next to ours and their orders were taken only minutes later. At that point, we got up and left. Nobody even asked why we were leaving.
The food was good, the server gave us good service. I would recommend making reservations for the weekend.

Very relaxing, quality food & wait staff is excellent. I enjoyed the homemade pasta special on Tuesday only for 12.00 & their chicken parmigian special on Wednesday for 15.00.

Horrible steak. Doubt that it was really Black Angus. No juice, no flavor, tough to cut, couldn’t chew it. I sent it back, and offered to pay, but they didn’t charge me for it. They did charge me salad and side of pasta. $12.00 for small VO manhattan?
