My cousin and I rode in on the Reading Train. We came here on the recommendation of the conductors. The service was slow and the food was okay. We wanted to turn our table over to others who were waiting but there was no rush to get us a check. We eventually went to the register to pay. Overall experience was okay but nothing special.

I felt so bad for the waitress. We were the first customers of the day. She informed us all she could give us was coffee or drinks because the cook walked out and never told her where he was going. When he finally showed up there was us and 14 other people waiting there. The breakfast was terrible and not cooked like we asked: he gave us the wrong toast and never even put butter on it. The sausage was undercooked as well as the potatoes and the eggs were almost raw. How this guy still has a job there is beyond me.

We enjoyed our meals after taking a train ride! The staff was going nonstop on a busy Sunday. They had signs hung that they were short staffed (like so many other restaurants). The staff was very nice. We did wait a little for our food, but considering the current state of the world we understood. I had the black bean burger and my mom had the brisket sandwich. They were delicious! Thanks for a good meal on a chilly, December day!

This place was okay; if you want great food in Jim Thorpe you normally have to pay high prices; this place charges more reasonable prices but the food is just adequate

Very disappointing. Nothing special on the menu, very disorganized. Even the dining room manager didn’t seem to know what was going on, wasn’t even sure if they were serving breakfast or lunch and it was 11:38 (I had to tell her the time) Waited over an hour for food after ordering. (It seemed there was plenty of workers, but in each other’s way and no organization). Had to wait another stretch of time just to pay - only one register. Our server was nice and apologetic. The prices not bad but again - nothing special. My wrap was bland, husband’s burger tasted plain, no flavor. Don’t waste your time or money going here.

I never leave reviews but this place was disgusting. My mom is diabetic so we just picked a random place because she needed to eat. We were seated by a waiter and handed breakfast menus despite it being 11:45am. We then overheard waitress talk to other customers and tell them it was lunch hours so we waited 15 minutes until somebody paid attention to us again and asked for lunch menus when we placed our drink orders. I eventually got a burger that was burnt and my mom had a salad with dirty produce in it. Her silverware was also filthy. There’s zero atmosphere to the place and everything was DIRTY! I got sick shortly after eating here and it was the only thing I’d had all day. Our waitress and waiters were not attentive at all. My mom and I were upset that we had wasted our money on such mediocre food and service. The owners I believe also came in and threw their purses and jackets behind my chair, against the wall. Very strange and yucky.

Took them 40 minutes to bring our food, which was burgers and fries, they forgot the fries…Really bad service, and dont look like a clean place!look at the restroom and the monitors in the front!Really bad service .I DO NOT recommend this place!It was our option running from the rain.Look for a better place

Great food! It was very busy today. With that being said, we received our meal in a timely fashion. I had a chicken quesadilla and my Husband had the All American burger. It was excellent! We look forward to dining here again!

Jim Thorpe was packed full of people on the fall Sunday we visited. We wanted to grab breakfast so we stopped in here. The place was packed so we expected it to take a while. We ended up getting a table rather quick and due to the lack of staff I expected it to take a while for our food too. We ordered and the food was out in maybe 10 minutes. Our breakfast was great and very affordable. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I would definitely go back.

This restaurant exists purely off the overflow of other restaurants. I don’t know how much worse a business could be run. The waitress could only say “pure mayhem” when commenting about the environment. We waited almost an hour for our food in which we asked 4 times for our table to be wiped down. Tables sat after us were fed and left before we even got our food, which was missing several items. Three of us were almost finished eating before our fourth got their food. People were seating themselves at dirty tables. The worst kind of free for all. Definitely won’t be back! Save yourself some money and time and just stick out the wait list at a different place!! All of the above is 100% understatement! Sometimes you just can’t make stuff up.

This place is down right awful. Nothing positive to stay, the food is terrible and the service worse. I couldn’t try to run a place this poorly even if I tried! A waste of time and money, stay away and you’d honestly be better off eating at a gas station!

Not sure how our check for one chicken wrap with fries and a cup of coffee totals $22 but that is what we were charged. This restaurant is woefully understaffed and you just get the sense it isn't going to go well when three different waitresses stop at your table. My wife had ordered a bowl of gumbo, the soup of the day, and tried to cancel it and replace with a sandwich when our drinks arrived (a coffee and water for her) after we noticed that the person behind us left an entire bowl of gumbo uneaten. Not long after, a bowl of gumbo was brought by another waitress which we refused saying we had ordered something else. My wife's sandwich never arrived. Would not recommend this place
