“Recently visited from the West Coast and absolutely loved the fun atmosphere and friendly staff. I felt very welcome and had a great time during trivia night. The drink selection was great, and I quickly found my favorite. I couldn’t leave without purchasing one of their well-made hoodies, and I will be rocking it on the West Coast all season. Thank you! “My boyfriend and I came to Jim Thorpe for my 35th Birthday and this was one of the top things we wanted to do. The space was super friendly and easy going. The staff was helpful in picking out our flight and charcuterie board. I’m not a wine drinker so I can’t really comment on the tastes even though I tried the Silver Fox, Blueberry, Elderflower wines and Elderberry Cider. They did all taste different, as described and we chose to get a bottle for some friends. What we got was definitely worth the price and the presentation and experience was a lot of fun for us.”

“My sister n law and I had just finished the bike train excursion and were famished. We stopped into this place because it was the first restaurant that we came to. Boy was i floored when I asked if they could accommodate a gluten free diet and they said they had a dedicated kitchen!! I had to ask again because I could not believe this! The food was amazing. I would recommend this place 100% to everyone and not just for food sensitive folks! Thank you so much for this thoughtful place!”

“I haven’t had a hotdog from a cart in a long time. I knew i had to get one. Got a chilli cheese & a bacon cheddar which wasn’t pictured. Chili Cheese dog was great. High quality dog. Went back for 2nds and almost 3rds but they were closed. Great prices & great staff”

“My boyfriend & I stopped by today & we had an amazing experience. We were visiting from out of town & Abby the bartender was so cool. We were introduced to the orange cosmopolitan that was delicious! Then she made me a hot apple cider with fireball with a cinnamon stick! It was so good... Just what I needed to warm up ... “Curiosities Coffee and Ice-Cream is nestled inside the Douglas House marketplace.

It is a very quirky, cosy and fragrant coffee shop. The store is laden with fascinating trifles and novelties.

A wide selection of ice-cream flavors with a lot of flavored syrups and options for adding onto your coffee.

The coffee itself is very good and well brewed. I loved my large Cappuccino with white chocolate so much that I had to get a second cup.

We had the Mango, Tiramisu, Fudge brownie cookie dough ice-cream and the Vanilla Shake and none of them was a letdown or loved any less than the other!”

“We were in Jim Thorpe, a magical town, with many bars and restaurants. We walked in to enjoy some fabulous authentic chinese food. Fantastic. Joy, was very friendly and sweet. The food was excellent. We are from New York amd often eat in china town in both New York and Philadelphia. The fireplace was such a warm inviting touch as we ate. We did order food to take back to the air B&B with us. You do not need any soy sauce or duck or anything. The taste of the food was excellent. We ordered a lot for 2 people, however, it was so nice to enjoy our wine that we brought in and just relax. We were not rushed at all. It was a wonderful end to our weekend.

“Just had gluten free pizza from Julios. Definitely the best gluten pizza I've had in my 6 years in the Albrightsville area. They even gave me the extra sauce I asked for.”

“First of all i never gave a review to any place but i had to for here. I had never been here before so first timer and my waitress Krystal was the best. Not only accommodating to what i wanted but also gave me pointers of things to see and do in the area. I will be back and hopefully she will be the person serving me again”

She was very polite, but the snot my gosh. Blow your nose for gosh sakes. Plenty of napkins around. Kudos for the guys in the back taking in the delivery. Great job.”

the food was tasty. we had 2 slices of quiche, which they had a large variety of. a cranberry and orange scone was also enjoyed.

the above was complemented by a coffee and espresso.
