“I’m from Maryland and I visited JT for the first time this past weekend. I can’t express enough how wonderful the entire town is. But Wild Elder was the most welcoming and cozy establishment. I highly suggest the Elderflower Cider or mulled Elderberry wine. I had their BLT and broccoli slaw and it paired perfect! I can’t wait to come back again!”

They were packed and offered their deck seating, a bit chilly BUT we were on a time crunch & took it, and it was peaceful & great ambiance!! We LOVED this coffee shop—such a fun, unique little spot in Jim Thorpe!

The vibe alone is worth stopping in. The chandeliers, the decor, the whole aesthetic is just so cute and different from your typical coffee place. It feels cozy, a little whimsical, and honestly just makes you want to hang out and take it all in.

Everything we had was really good, and it was the perfect place to stop, relax, and recharge while walking around town.

This ended up being one of our favorite stops of the trip. If you’re in Jim Thorpe, you definitely need to check this place out! ☕✨💛”

“This is a cute place with a bunch of delicious food. Our group was pleased. The IPA was great. Server was decent. The only downfall for me was the chili. This chili doesn't belong in a bowl, it's hot dog chili. Other than that, very tasty bar food. We had 6 different meals and 3 appetizers all very good.”

“I recently visited the town of Jim Thorpe with a good friend of mine. It happened to be my birthday so we stopped by Woods Ice Cream. They got me a peanut butter sundae. I've gotta say it's prob one of the best and most delicious sundae's I've ever had in my life. And I'm not even exaggerating. Typing this out just made me remember the taste and my mouth just watered lol. And I can't forget to mention the service was great as well. I highly recommend stopping by this cute little town and getting yourself some ice cream from there.”

“We were in Jim Thorpe, a magical town, with many bars and restaurants. We walked in to enjoy some fabulous authentic chinese food. Fantastic. Joy, was very friendly and sweet. The food was excellent. We are from New York amd often eat in china town in both New York and Philadelphia. The fireplace was such a warm inviting touch as we ate. We did order food to take back to the air B&B with us. You do not need any soy sauce or duck or anything. The taste of the food was excellent. We ordered a lot for 2 people, however, it was so nice to enjoy our wine that we brought in and just relax. We were not rushed at all. It was a wonderful end to our weekend.
