“It’s my first time here. The place is nice, with unique decorations unlike a typical bar. The beer menu is displayed on the wall, and the cocktail menu is on paper. It’s small but cool. You’ll need to find street parking nearby. A great spot to grab a beer and try different flavors!“

“My sister n law and I had just finished the bike train excursion and were famished. We stopped into this place because it was the first restaurant that we came to. Boy was i floored when I asked if they could accommodate a gluten free diet and they said they had a dedicated kitchen!! I had to ask again because I could not believe this! The food was amazing. I would recommend this place 100% to everyone and not just for food sensitive folks! Thank you so much for this thoughtful place!“

“We stopped into this little room while roaming Jim Thorpe. I’m glad we did. They offer free tastings of up to four of their products. In this case, that was a big deal because we weren’t ready to pay for a tasting as we were simply shopping at the time. I left with a couple bottles, though. Their peach mead was really great! It’s a basic tasting room but fits the Jim Thorpe vibe really well. Would definitely make a point to stop back next time we are in town.“

“My boyfriend & I stopped by today & we had an amazing experience. We were visiting from out of town & Abby the bartender was so cool. We were introduced to the orange cosmopolitan that was delicious! Then she made me a hot apple cider with fireball with a cinnamon stick! It was so good... Just what I needed to warm up ... “We were in Jim Thorpe, a magical town, with many bars and restaurants. We walked in to enjoy some fabulous authentic chinese food. Fantastic. Joy, was very friendly and sweet. The food was excellent. We are from New York amd often eat in china town in both New York and Philadelphia. The fireplace was such a warm inviting touch as we ate. We did order food to take back to the air B&B with us. You do not need any soy sauce or duck or anything. The taste of the food was excellent. We ordered a lot for 2 people, however, it was so nice to enjoy our wine that we brought in and just relax. We were not rushed at all. It was a wonderful end to our weekend.

“Stopped in for a late lunch. We ate in the outdoor bar area because the dining area had a 20 minute wait. Only the outdoor area was open.
The bar area offered the full menu. The area was clean and although the bar area was very busy the bartender was excellent. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. She took our order quickly and the food was delivered promptly and as ordered.

We had the wedge salad, the open faced turkey sandwich and the chicken parm sandwich. Everything was tasty but the chicken parm sandwich was a bit dry. Maybe order extra sauce on the side.

I highly recommend Molly Maguire's for a nice meal at a decent price.“

“Ok the food was outstanding!!! Service was really good as well. The ladies in the back room were attentive, timely, and friendly. The only negative is the lack of sunshade and AC. It can get warm in the back, but the sun through the glass doors can be brutal and terrible when in your face.

Otherwise, worth visiting and eating here, hands down!“

The one thing that would bring it closer to my personal preference is if it had a little less thickener. I'm looking forward to our next order.“
