Stopped in for dinner before heading to a show in Jim Thorpe. Everything was delicious. I forgot to take a picture of the chocolate covered strawberries and fritos but our spinach, beet and goat cheese salad with candied walnuts, bbq pork sandwich and sweet chili wings are pictured. Service was equally great despite only one server and a full house. Definitely will come again and avoid the crowds in town. A little loud but a great local hangout.
Porter tap beer was excellent. Bar seating was all that was available when we arrived which was fine. The beverage and food menus were of good variety. My date ordered the cheesesteak poutine with side of coleslaw. He said it was literally the best coleslaw he’s ever had…that’s a high gold complement there! First time eating here with a table 8 of us. Food came out all about the same time which was nice. Place was pretty crowded however its wasn't that loud so you could have a conversation. This isn't a super fancy place but its not a hole in the wall either. Overall the food was really good from the burgers to the shrimp and grits to the salmon all good.
