“On New Year’s Day, while trying to find someplace open for breakfast, we stumbled into Hug in a Mug Café and met Barbara and Zach. What a great find in tiny Weissport. Egg and bacon on sourdough, fresh pastries, Americanos, and lattes - we were hooked! We also appreciated their knowledge of food allergies and their gluten free desserts selection even more. So glad we wandered in. We’ll be back!”

“Great old fashion ice cream shop! They also had old favorite candy's: Shoe strings, candy necklaces, candy buttons, Whatchamacallit, Pop rocks, Razzles, Rock candy, etc. Brought me back to my childhood 😊”

“My boyfriend and I came to Jim Thorpe for my 35th Birthday and this was one of the top things we wanted to do. The space was super friendly and easy going. The staff was helpful in picking out our flight and charcuterie board. I’m not a wine drinker so I can’t really comment on the tastes even though I tried the Silver Fox, Blueberry, Elderflower wines and Elderberry Cider. They did all taste different, as described and we chose to get a bottle for some friends. What we got was definitely worth the price and the presentation and experience was a lot of fun for us.”

“Just WOW! The atmosphere is good. The food is just amazing. The Tomahawk Chop is delicious. The balsamic reduction a perfect combination. And the deserts: wonderful.! (Try the Brownie with Ice Cream or Apple Cobbler with Ice Cream. Oh heck, get both!) We went last Saturday, (it was highly recommended by a friend) And I want to go back this coming Friday.”

“I ordered a custom design gender reveal cake and cupcakes for my daughter's reveal party. The cake was just perfect. Exactly what I ordered and absolutely delicious. The cupcakes were moist and the cream cheese frosting was was just divine. All the guests were loving them. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back.”

This RIBEYE Cheesesteak with cooper cheese melted right in on a soft sesame seed 12 inch roll is FULLY packed with 1lb of meat! Chopped up fine, it simply melts in your mouth! The hubs and I took it as take out today, needless to say, we split it! It's huge!
So tasty, no grease and the sauce on the side was the perfect choice. Amanda, the host and server is super nice too. Great staff, and ohhh, didn't I mention the HOMEMADE desserts? Well the hubs loves his cheesecake so I had to take one home too! Mile high Oreo Cheesecake!😍 This place knows food and pizza too. BYOB if you dine in! Give it a try for sure, you won't be disappointed! 😊”

“I’m not local to this area, but stopped in today while visiting a relative who recommended it. There are so many interesting flavors, it was hard to choose! I ended up getting Peanut Butter Crunch Explosion in a waffle cone. I’m normally not a PB ice cream fan, but this flavor was perfect and even tops my all time universal favorite, Moose Tracks. The waffle cone was delicious and you could tell it was homemade. I also picked up some Cake Crunch topping from their selection of toppings and premade ice cream items. They had a lot to choose from! I’m unsure of the name of the young lady that helped me, but she was very kind, patient, and pleasant to interact with. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!”

“Small diner and great food. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of John Deere toy decorations which are petty neat. The food is also very affordable and you get a good portion for the price. I recommend stopping by if you need somehwere to eat breakfast.”
