They had great options for Jim Thorpe! The food came out quick and was flavorful. If you’re looking for a quick bite, come to China Garden.

To be honest, their cooking is delicious the service is straightforward and kind. Also, the atmosphere is very homey with nice art, a fire place and comfortable seating. The prices are reasonable too! I got the chicken on a stick and the chicken is sooooo tender, juicy and is so easy to eat. The seasoning is delicious! I highly recommend this place to get great food.

Food prices are cheaper, but it’s tasty. It’s really American Chinese cuisine.

I LOVE IT HERE! They know it too lol, because I come here so often. I live about 3 towns away, but I ONLY come here. Everything is always very hot and delicious. I wish there were more places like them! Honestly I sound Hype, because it’s that good! My personal favorite is their chicken on a stick (so mouth watering) I always order their mei fun noodles because it’s so garlicky and yummy, AND THEN my boyfriend and me of course too LOVE their crab Rangoons!! What are you waiting for? Go dig in, you’re worth it baddies!

I think this is the first bad review I’ve given to any restaurant
Mind you my experience was ordering a fried rice chicken they barely used chicken it was just fried flour. Service is ok, floors are dirty but overall it is a OK, you get for what you get. So sad I was so hungry 🥲 and couldn’t eat anything on my plate

We got a roast pork lo mein lunch special for 8.95$
It comes with pork fried rice and hot&sour soup.
The soup is nice, roast pork is delicious. The fried rice is way beyond what you would expect for the carb that comes with the lunch deal.
We feel the food is much more worth than the price, and would visit again if we come to the town next time.

We never leave a bad review but here goes. **Beware if you are dining in!!!!! ** The food was reasonably good, for fast food. Now, this is a fast food place and all fast food places use ingredients that aren’t always fresh. When dining in here, we were charged for LARGE portions while getting half the amount of food. I saw two people order the same amount of food for take out and get charged half the price!! This is minus the tip! So if you want to dine in here, be prepared for paying double for half the food and that too fast food!!!
I suggest take out!

First and foremost, I have done both dine-in and takeout options (the Google review allows users to select one option: dine-in, takeout, or delivery).

One of my favorite places to eat in Jim Thorpe, PA because it’s cheap ?

China Garden, nestled at 61 Broadway in Jim Thorpe, is a local gem that offers delectable meals at affordable prices. From 11 AM to 3 PM, six days a week, they serve lunch specials featuring white rice or pork fried rice, accompanied by a choice of soups like egg drop, wonton, or hot and sour. If you’re planning to dine in for lunch, it’s best to arrive before 11:30 AM to secure a table, as there’s no formal waiter or waitress service. Instead, your orders will be brought to your table by the friendly staff.

Please consider giving a small tip or gratuity like $1 or $2, no matter how small or large your order is. The plastic tip box is located near the counter by the cash register, or you can give the tip to the staff (don’t leave the tip on the table). You know what I mean to give a small tip or gratuity especially during lunch.

I have no personal or financial relationship with this business or its staff.

1. Food : I had ordered vegetarian chow mein and vegetarian chop suey. Both felt as the exact same in taste and look.
2. Service is too slow. It took us 45 minutes to just get a table to sit and order.
3. Atmosphere is not at all friendly, they don’t even look at you until you call them multiple times or remind them to take an order.

Not at all recommended for vegetarian.

Vegetarian options: Not at all recommended for vegetarian food.

As Asian, it hard to not eat rice or noodle one day while traveling. We always seek out the local Asian spot to fulfil our craving for some rice dishes.

This is also one of the few spot that are open on weekdays as well in this area. Most restaurant only operates Thursday - Sunday.

The owner came to greet us and chatted with us for a bit. He was nice and friendly.

The food here was decent.
