Food was phenomal! Friendly prompt service made our impromptu visit SPOT ON. Highly recommend the Chili on the Nachos, & the PIG LEBOWSKI was a unique menu item - surely was a treat. Vibe was right on a Saturday night!

A great, warm and welcoming pub. The staff was great and they all knew exactly what they needed to do in the tight quarters. We took advice and took an early lunch to beat the crowd.
The food and drink didn't disappoint

Order, wait 30 mins just to see they didn't send your order to the kitchen. Than they say everything is on grill even the nachos and wait 15 more minutes to get food.

It appears that the Chunker has left the menu. Lol. Love/hate with that burger.
Got in there easy on a Thursday night and party of 8. Great service. Excellent server. Took some friends for first time. Everyone had a great meal and drinks.

Great little spot with excellent pub fare. The highlight for me was the 100% local beer list. No beer from further than 50 miles. Be nice if you could add Hairy Guys option as well.

Was a little underwhelming with the out of the box eggrolls and the "soup" dumplings that are fried pierogies plopped in French onion soup... however one of the best old fashions I've ever had .. and our server kayden .. top notch very attentive and sweet she gets 5 stars ...

We went on a Friday night in the busy season of October. I was shocked at how accommodating they were and able to get us seated right away. This place also has the coolest atmosphere, fitting right in to the historic town. Service was amazing and the wait staff were so kind and fun. Food was amazing as well!

For a late lunch we had the French onion dumplings as an appetizer, and the Irish stout stew, pulled pork Sammie, and Wellington sandwich as our entrees. The dumplings had a tasty filling and the French onion soup as a sauce over them really put them over the top. The Irish stout stew was a huge portion to the point they could probably offer a half portion as an option for those with smaller appetites. It was well seasoned and the stew and potato proportions were good. The pulled pork sandwich was well sauced with a soft pretzel bun. The Wellington meat was perfectly tender, the sauce was a nice creamy accompaniment, and I loved the unusual croissant-style bun which added a nice buttery note. We also tried the Big Ben cola, lemon, and blue birch. The cola struck as similar to RC, the lemon was reminiscent of an Italian lemon soda, and the birch was a bit disappointing version of birch beer but overall they were good.

Super quaint little gem right on Broadway in Jim Thorpe! My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our first day in town. So glad we did for many reasons! 1. We arrived on Monday and this restaurant is closed Tuesday & Wednesday (at least they are in very late October). 2. It is a really charming little place with a lovely outdoor seating area. 3. The service was very good even during a very busy lunch service. Server was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and kind. 4. The food was really good, really fresh & served hot. My husband and I were both very pleased with our selections - super crispy fries with a gouda cheese sauce on the side aa an appetizer, delicious well spiced chili, and the soup of the moment (chicken corn chowder).

So bummed they won’t be open Tuesday and Wednesday - I’d go every day! But so very glad we chose it on Monday for lunch! I won’t miss it if the next time I find myself in Jim Thorpe!

We were there on a fall weekend and the town was busy. There was quite a bit of a wait, 20 minutes or so. The host person was nice and friendly. We finally sat inside and waited more than 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was mediocre, at best. We had the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The soup basically came in a ramekin, it was so small. The Mac and cheese was dry. I would not return.
