Great experience! Wonderful service, great drinks, and the food was delicious!! Very large portion sizes. Also, super helpful to have a kids menu! We will be back!

I’ve never met a more polite and patient staff in such an incredibly busy atmosphere. The portions are excellent and the food is incredible. Highly recommend!

The crispy duck was a nice dish but it's not meant for everyone. It can be pretty fatty. The skin was crispy like a chip.

Had a spicy tuna roll that literally tasted like air . . No flavor . My daughter had a filet that was drowned in soy sauce, my husband had drunken noodles that were way to sweet ... I think my son was the only one to enjoy what he ordered which was sashimi ?‍♀️ unfortunately very mid

The service here was phenomenal. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The food was really well cooked and tasty. Highly recommend Bento box 2 and the Hibachi Steak! The place is clean and well organized!

We went there after a train ride to celebrate my friend's birthday. I mentioned to the waitress when we arrived that we were there for a birthday celebration. We ordered chicken fried rice and General Tso's chicken. We liked the General Tso's chicken, but the chicken in the fried rice had an aftertaste that wasn't good. After we finished eating, we were waiting to celebrate, but the waitress brought the bill without offering anything special. I reminded her that it was my friend's birthday, and she said she'd bring us ice cream, which she did. However, while we were in the bathroom, we heard them loudly singing 'Happy Birthday' to someone else, which left us feeling disappointed and made us question if we were treated differently. It’s racism.

Customer service is amazing! Christine our server was friendly, answered any questions we had. The food was great we had hibachi (steak and salmon), general tso chicken, and sushi. Everything was delicious, the food came out fresh and hot. We will be returning! We didn’t take any pictures because we just dug in ?

The food took so long to arrive at the table.
The chicken soup is made of powder.
My son has sushi and enjoyed it.
The shrimp hibachi contains 6 small shrimps, which were quite on the dry side. The other dishes were ok.

I ordered sweet shrimp and they gave me this. I have no idea why this shit called sweet shrimp and cost me $4 per piece.? The waiter was nice. Very attentive and friendly. The food was below expectations.

We visited MYST on October 19 when the town of Jim Thorpe was in gridlock with tourists due to a fall festival. Needless to say MYSR were exceptionally busy.

We got seated rather quickly. Considering that the restaurant was full and there were a lot of large parties the service was very good. Probably would have been a little quicker were the crowd smaller, but no complaints are deserved.

I had sushi that consisted of two serving each of tuna, salmon and, probably flounder or sea bass. It also included six slices of California roll, miso soup and small salad with ginger dressing. The soup was ok; the ginger dressing was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi, but sushi it not how I judge a restaurant. Good sushi can be found almost anywhere. The dish I had tasted the same as other places I've been, but I expected no more or no less.

The reason for only 3-stars for food was that my wife's chicken in red curry was fair-to-poor. She is a Thai food aficionado and says this the first time she's ever had to salt Thai food. It was made with breast meat that was overcooked and chewy. Most places she's been use dark meat to prevent that problem. There was some heat in the dish but very little. Lots of vegetables.

If you like sushi and other Japanese-style dishes you won't go wrong at MYST. If you like Thai food I suggest you avoid the chicken in red curry.

WHEN I TELL YOU TRY THIS PLACE I MEAN ITTTT!!! SUSHI WAS GREAT IT WAS SO GOOD , I STAYED IN JIM THROPE FOR 3 DAYS THIS WAS THE SPOT I DID NOT LEAVE , SERVICE WAS GREAT REALLY FRIENDLY MET THE OWNER VERY HUMBLE GUY VIBES WERE DIFFERENT HERE WILL RETURN !
