Cheryl horrible waitress. Food always delicious but this first time I had a problem at Myst I couldn't tip my normal 25 to 30%. She made my wife and daughter very uncomfortable. Seems she couldn't be bothered by us that's how she came off. Our appetizers were cold because she decided to chat with table next to us for long period of time which must of been friends instead of going to see if our food was ready. She never topped off ours waters I was empty after I ate the appetizers. Me and wife finished our entree before our daughter even received her entree. Big kicker dropped the Bill off on the table minute she served my daughter's entree like now she just wants to hurry up and rush us out. We we're sitting there twiddling our thumbs for 20 minutes while she ate and still didn't get water refill I didn't think had to ask so I watched and waited. Maybe she was having bad day I thought but she seemed on top of her friends table. First time service was complete garbage. As a local I been going to Myst for years now not sure if I even wanna go back. Sorry forgot your name but the big guy no hair server always has great personality is one of the best servers there wish he would of taking care of us.

Amazing. First time eating here... driving through on shopping venture. Everything was amazingly good. I'd def recommend this.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan sushi options...Dietary restrictions: One had shellfish allergy.. they had no problem accommodating.Parking: Found space along road. Luck. But you can find plenty of parking along our at the train station... very easy walk.

Amazing!!!!!! I can't stress enough how amazing and delicious the food is. The staff is awesome and super accommodating. Very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks and even about the artists who have art work there. If you want great food/sushi and atmosphere this is the place to go. Took my family here and they were not disappointed, they all want to come back!!!!!! Amazing can't say it enough.

This was our first time in Jim Thorpe, and we were very pleased with Myst. The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was impeccable. We sat at the bar, and the two owners served us, and they were so attentive and friendly. We highly recommend the Spicy Honey Chicken and the Filet Mignon hibachi. We will be back next year.

Had lunch here, party of 4. Was my dad’s birthday. I rarely take the time to post a review but our experience here was an A+. The food was so delicious, great menu, drinks, and atmosphere. The service was the best part. We paid the check and were about to leave and our server asked us to remain seated. They brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle in it and sang happy birthday to my dad. It was so wonderful. Thanks for making this a memorable and special experience!

Once again a local business shows why it's a favorite for locals and tourists alike. Great service, great atmosphere and most of all great food! While the weekends can get very busy, you can often get a table during the week rather quickly. The food is always prepared fresh and delicious.
Rolls were way bigger than expected, tasted fresh too. Bento was good too!

Wish there were more stars! First the cocktails were delicious! Now I’m not the best customer because I can’t eat onions or mushrooms, it’s game over end of my meal if I bite into them. I ordered and informed the waitress and she absolutely made sure my meal was perfect and it was. I ordered the filet hibachi it was great! The salad was fresh and cold the clear soup was hot and well balanced a perfect pairing. We went with three couples and everyone enjoyed their meals as much I enjoyed mine. Don’t hesitate!

O man if I could give this place 0 stars I would. The service I received was absolutely terrible. I spend a ton of money at this place and I got treated like some dirt bag. I hope this review finds its way to someone who cares at myst. My biggest gripe is with the so called “manager” at the bar jimmy. Asked to speak with him twice and he just ignored me. I was looking to speak to a manager about the food being almost twice as long as I was told it would be. If jimmy can’t talk to someone who is upset and for good reason he shouldn’t be a manager. Thats part of the manager job.. The younger host was more professional about the situation than the so called manager. I was told part of it was taking longer everything else was done. Then that part was done and magically nothing else was. I am so disgusted with how much money I spend here a year and that’s how I’m treated. On my birthday non the less. I may never go back. If you value service with professionals go somewhere else. It’s a shame because the food is good.
