Stopped here while walking around Jim Thorpe, the guy out front was super friendly and nice. He offered us tastings of the beer I can't remember the name of the beer I had but it was very good. Definitely a hidden gem at Jim Thorpe.

Best Apple Pie Moonshine I’ve ever had. Great options.

This is moonshine?! Jk it was so good though. Highly suggest buying a tasting and taking Cathy’s excellent advice on the options provided. The sweet tea moonshine was delightful. Also, purchase some of her handmade treasures while you’re there. - Tampa Gals

Root Beer Booze and Maple Whiskey. Enough said. Get it, you won't regret it!

Not sure who's beer they are pouring, just says the type. Outside space is cramped but there's a good vibe around the place. Employees really friendly. Canned cocktails to go, too.

Did the sampler, and everything I had was delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu of food options today at Nomad! This is the first time I’ve been there since they added the food, and when I saw the street corn french fries, I just had to try them! They were so delicious! Just perfect! Can’t wait to go back and have some more!

Visited multiple times, always the same result. Great, friendly service with a top notch product is their recipe for success. We love going there every time we're in JimThorpe. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't be disappointed!

In response to owner's response - Do you think you are the first and only distillery we've ever visited?? You are attempting to make a huge profit off charging customers to sample, just to offset your poor business skills. Shame on you. FYI we do know what it is like to be a small businesses owner and don't appreciate being taken advantage of.
Original post - Stopped by and paid $10 to sample the liquor they have for sale. The shot glasses were the smallest shot cups I've ever seen. Then they only filled the tiny cups a 1/4 of the way. So in essence they are selling the world's smallest flight. Can't believe they are trying to profit off of sampling the liquor they are trying to sell??? To add insult to injury, they don't offer to credit some or all of the money you paid to sample their products if you made a purchase like other distilleries.

This is a must-visit spot in Jim Thorpe! A cozy place to taste whiskey with great flavors. The service is excellent—she explains all the options well. You pay $8 dollars and can taste 6 flavors. You can pick up a bottle of your choice and some souvenirs. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love their whiskey! Also I love visiting the distillery for taste testing and of course buying a bottle or two to take along home with me.
