Stopped in with my fiancée to try some of the moonshine here, second time we have been here and the staff is very friendly. Each time we were here we purchased some of the hard lemonade, highly recommendIt’s also in a very historic and cool part of the town

This little cute treasure is off the main drag of Jim Thorpe. There are no tables, and there is no public restroom. It is just a small tasting room. That day, they were serving spiked hot chocolate for adults and normal for kiddos. The two ladies behind the bar were very nice and made suggestions on mixing certain liquors together. All the samples we had were outstanding!! I got the root beer shine to take home and mix with some egg nog!

I stopped in here by chance, and saw that they had a spirits tasting for pretty cheap, so I did it and they genuinely have very good products. My favorite was the blackberry bramble, I would highly recommend trying it if you go

The Nomad Distillery, embedded in the enduring heart of Jim Thorpe, PA, holds a secret potion for those with a seasoned palate - the Tapped Maple Bourbon. The drink comes hard, akin to the brutal sincerity of a Hemingway novel, yet sweet, just like the fleeting moments of tenderness within those same pages. It is a symphony of raw wilderness softened by the whispered lullabies of virginal maple trees. The elusive dance of each flavor teases the tongue- the robust grain, the mellow maple, the aged oak - the humble brutality against the silky sweetness. In each sip, one tastes the brutality of nature, mirrored in the fierce flames that merge the spirit with heart of the oak barrels. Yet, it is caressed and swathed in the intimate sweetness of the untapped maple collected during the resonating melody of spring thaw, a wilderness ballet performed for the ages by Mother Nature herself. It imitates the burden and lightness of a Hemingway tale - the drama of life and death underpinned by subtle threads of sweetness. A toast to human resilience reminiscent of Santiago's relentless pursuit in "The Old Man and the Sea", the Tapped Maple Bourbon embodies the spirit of clinging onto a silver of hope despite the despair. The indelible burn as the liquid makes its descent leaves behind a trail of stories within oneself, which unfold with every sip nurturing a lingering fondness. Just as Hemingway's prose leaves one contemplating life, the bourbon leaves one pondering over the vast natural treasury bestowed upon humanity. Therein lies the soul of the Nomad Distillery, elegantly incised into each bottle of Tapped Maple Bourbon, a bold yet beautiful encapsulation of experience far beyond its atypical offering - the lasting poetry of a poignant drink.

My husband and I stopped in a few weeks ago and a lovely girl was there ( i forgot her name) who waved us in and helped us with some tastings. We purchased a bottle of maple bourbon and then ran back for another bottle for a friend . My husband loved it so much we will make the drive back down to get more ! The friend is something of a bourbon connoisseur and in his words “ delicious” . Go check them out!

6 samples for 8 bucks is a great deal considering on that day they have approx 12 different spirits to choose from. The apple pie is an absolute must for all and also grabbed a root beer spirit to make adult milkshake floatsWill be making the trip up to their home location in Williamsport next month
