What an amazing discovery for anyone with food sensitivities and allergies! Our meals were exceptional. The drinks top notch. The staff amazing(shout out especially to Holly and her handcrafted shrubs!) The only reason I was willing to leave Jim Thorpe was because I had a loaf of wonderful to take home and toast for breakfast Monday morning. Looking forward to our next visit to town even more now!
Excellent Classic Hamburger, staff very friendly and polite. However, Black Beans taco were overpriced because it was only lettuce 2 small tortillas and just lettuce with a touch of green sauce as a flavor.
What a great place that feels like a hidden gem. Food was fantastic! Their menu changes daily, which I absolutely appreciate. Thanks to Holly, our amazing waitress with a quick wit, explained how all of their food is fresh, there are no freezers, and they ground their own meat. Great atmosphere, loved it!
I like the staff very helpful. But the food was ok. Need to add more vegetarian options. An item doesn't feel you up completely. Plus parking is a challenge.
For allergy friendly options alone, I would give them 10 stars 🤩
We are on our way home to CT and stopped in the charming Jim Thorpe just for this restaurant, and we will be coming again! So delicious and so allergy friendly!
Thank you!!
Our new Jim Thorpe favorite is Stone Row Pub and Eatery. My daughter and I had lunch there on Saturday and were so impressed we came back for dinner the same nite. We really enjoyed meeting the owner and chef! The food is all handcrafted and farm to table. The cocktails and artisan sips are beautifully presented and everything on the menu is absolutely AMAZING!! The team there is so accomodating and helpful, what a great dining experience.
This is now the first of many Mother's Day weekends we will spend in Jim Thorpe. Can't wait to be back there again soon!!
Stone row is amazing. The chef takes great care in each and every meal, and it is delicious. Do yourself a favor and add this place on your list of regular visits. We came here passing through the area and will make it a point to return even though we live pretty far away.
If you are vegan, vegetarian, have alergies, or are just looking for something different... give this place a try. We stoped in on a whim without checking the menu first. It was awesome. Best Shrub ive ever had. Fantastic burger cooked perfectly, and a wonderful chickpea/veg burger that didnt tast like health food.
Everything was gluten free!! I was able to pick from so many options. I have a dairy allergy as well and they did their best to make sure my food wasn’t contaminated. I had a burger and the bread was made fresh in house. The Potato salad was nice and creamy. Every bite was so delicious. I had the carrot cake for dessert and the whip cream was dairy free. It was not too sweet. The service was excellent. Holly was my server and she was great. I highly recommend this place.
Steve is amazing, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Stone Row is a must for anybody gluten free or for any whiskey connoisseur.

I'm giving this review 15 years after we had the pleasure of dining here. Not sure if it is run by the same garrulous chef, but the experience was unforgettable. Unfortunately it's a 15 hour drive from our home (and have to cross the border) otherwise we would be regulars.
Not one to post reviews but just giving an honest opinion. First the positive. The food was very well prepared and tasted wonderful. 8 of 10. Now the many negatives. They do not take reservations but claim they can accommodate just about any time. They claim to have a small staff but many tables. Got there with a full waiting area of people. Waited over half hour just to be seated. Order a cocktail while waiting. It was tasty but not worth a high end restaurant New York City price. Was taken to seat and passed off many many empty tables along the way. We were seated 20 feet from an individual and next to him was a 30 lb dog! I am a dog lover and owner but there is a time and place to bring a dog to a public place and a restaurant is not one of them. The entire time we were there that dog was shaking its head and scratching itself. It appeared the restaurant knew this individual but regardless of being a frequent local, this I feel is unsanitary and if DOH would not allow a dog in the kitchen, one should would not be allowed where public is eating. Next issue was absolutely no bread or anything offered at the table. This would not be a big issue except for the fact we waited 45 minutes! for our meal to be provided. It would be nice to have a little something while sitting there for such a long duration. Another small issue was that I requested some lemons for our water that was provided. The waitress never provided and when the food finally delivered I asked again. When they brought it was almost comical the two small pieces of lemon given. I wish I took a picture. The last issue was the bill. I requested the bill and waited another 15 minutes. The hostess came over with a bit of attitude and handed us a large tablet with requested tip recommendations and stood there like a hawk watches its prey. We felt uncomfortable and although we provided 20% tip, we wish would could have a moment to discuss a and contemplate giving less due to the not so great service. As noted, I am not one to provide a reviews but wish I read an honest review prior to going there which is why I am writing this. The entire experience was 2 1/2 hours! and we ate at several other local places during our weekend getaway that we certainly would recommend over this.
Such a wonderful experience. After a full day of exploring Jim Thorpe, my girlfriend and I came here for dinner. We were greeted warmly by the head chef and then taken to our table upstairs. Holly our server was phenomenal. The drinks were delicious and I highly recommend the Smoked Mac and Cheese if it is still on the menu when you dine here. My girlfriend got the mushroom bourguigon and that looked and tasted delicious. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely come back should we find ourselves in Jim Thorpe again.
Had a wonderful time here with my family. They cooked a custom steak for my one-year-old and my wife and I loved the deviled eggs. It was the first time I've had mac and cheese in several years (gluten-free) and really enjoyed it. Same with the bread pudding. The cocktail flight was delicious and, oddly, nostalgic for me. The service was also fantastic. Can't wait to be back!
Such a cool environment and the staff were all welcoming and thoughtful. It's obvious that they want you to have a great experience on top of an excellent meal (which it was!). Will definitely be back again!
