My wife and I went here for the lunch. The service was a little slow but there was only one waitress who was working very hard. The catfish sandwich was pretty good overall and they had someone playing the piano. Overall I’d recommend this place.
We wandered into The Mad Hattery during our first visit to Jim Thorpe and were pleasantly surprised by the whimsical Atmosphere of this perfectly located winery and smoke house. The owner was very friendly. The moonshine mixed drinks were unique and tasty. Our meals were absolutely delicious and very filling. I never had pulled chicken this good! Tips: Come here AFTER your Lehigh Gorge Scenic Train Ride NOT Before.
It may take a few minutes longer than a normal resturant because it is homemade style. But they make the wait time worth it!! We had the Catfish PO’ boy sandwich, 1/2 or full rib and the salmon burger (made from fresh salmon). Highly recommend when in Jim Thorpe
