Great dinner,ambience and staff.
Fun restaurant with random nicknacks everywhere. Your eyes will wander around the whole time you are there. A cute dog is the official greater. The food was decent enough that I would come back while in town. The frozen party drinks served in over sized cups hit the spot. My daughter loved her pasta and chicken wings, the wife was happy with her salmon with baked potato, and I ordered the ribs and actually liked it better than the past few times I've ordered ribs at random establishments that offer it. Chocolate cake and berry pie were enjoyable. If busy the gentleman that was working there is definitely hustling and doing his best to keep up. So be patient. Enjoy.

The atmosphere here is both quirky and cool, and the staff seemed polite, expressing their apologies for the wait times. The staff insists that "it's well worth the wait," but the real question is: is waiting over an hour for food truly worth it?
After placing our breakfast order around 10:40 AM, we eagerly anticipated a plate of fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon, but alas, time marched on. In fact, it marched so slowly that I'm convinced we slipped into an alternate universe, where time doesn't exist and food is just a mythical creature. By 11:45 AM, we were staring at the menu again, now featuring lunch items, and questioning whether breakfast is merely a figment of our imaginations.
To make matters worse, the entire experience felt like a tourist trap--no pun intended--where dreams and appetites go to die.
So, if you're looking for a place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal that may or may not arrive before dinner service, this gem is for you. But for me? I'll be sticking to an actual looking glass, where at least I know the reflection of my breakfast is not just a cruel joke. Never again. Nope.
Edit** we walked down the road to Antonio's pizza, the place was packed but managed to find one empty table. Upon sitting down our order was taken within 2min. Our food then took 10min until it came out. We were blown away! Antonio’s for the win!

If you get more than $1 for food and have menu you must give service and be polite with costumers. And if you have any problems with waiting order time, waiters bad mood etc you must said it to client before ordering. Good luck w your business…

We waited for over 30 min to be asked what we wanted to eat, then another 50 min to get served. For a grilled cheese and a sandwich…
Not worth the wait

We love to visit this beautiful old town of Jim Thorpe, and always coming back to this little corner all the way up the street. It doesn't look like a restaurant, everything looks old and in a littledisorder, but friendly staff and cheap food, and they have a water bowl for dogs just outside. Up there the parking is easier and for free, and behind it there is a narrow street that leads to one of the most steepest street on earth. This place also has a bar, and sometimes has steaks for dinner. It is a great place to grab a cheap bite or drink.
Vegetarian options: Friendly old guy is running the place, so you can ask him for vegetarian dishes. We usually go for the fries and cheese sandwich, and so on, I'm sure you can get a few vegetarian kinds of pasta.
Parking: Down the road parking is tough, even on meters and in the paid parking lot by the old train station. Up the street we were able to find free street parking, but it is tight.
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff for kids and dogs.

This is one of our new favorite places ever. Food was great, prices were great, atmosphere was dreamlike and David the piano player was super talented and entertaining. We can’t wait to have another getaway to Jim Thorpe so we can stop by again. Such a magical and unique place! Try the crab soup if you go, it was the best we’ve ever had.

the place is very pleasant to be in and you can tell it’s family owned and very cared about. the other bums don’t know what they’re talking about, learn how to have some patience and enjoy the experience you’re having in an otherwise amazing atmosphere. very kind staff and the food was great :)

This place is a joke. On one of the busiest weekends of the year. Only have 1 waiter running everything. The restaurant behind the scenes is appalling (dirty floors, bathroom, complete disarray) We sat down after waiting 15 minutes, put our orders in immediately for food and drinks. Nothing, no sign of the waiter for 20 minutes. Definitely would not recommend unless you’re ok with poor service and disgusting surroundings
