I’m from Maryland and I visited JT for the first time this past weekend. I can’t express enough how wonderful the entire town is. But Wild Elder was the most welcoming and cozy establishment. I highly suggest the Elderflower Cider or mulled Elderberry wine. I had their BLT and broccoli slaw and it paired perfect! I can’t wait to come back again!

I visited this establishment on a cold rainy Monday and was met with some very warm and nice staff! The inside was very clean and smelled great. I ordered the turkey wrap, some brocoli slaw, and a cheesecake brownie. All of the food I had was very tasty and well made. Whether you are a wine person or not, like me, they are worth checking out!

I recently visited Elder Wine and Cider Co. and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. I opted for the wine and cider flight, and it was nothing short of amazing. Each selection was thoughtfully curated, showcasing a fantastic variety of flavors that truly highlighted the artistry behind their craft. One of the highlights was the back porch patio, adorned with charming brick walls that create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a drink while soaking in the surroundings. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, eager to share insights about the different wines and ciders. Overall, Elder Wine and Cider Co. is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality beverages and a delightful ambiance. I can’t wait to return for another tasting!

Stopped in on a girls trip to the area. Like the rest of our experience in Jim Thorpe, the staff here were incredibly nice and helpful. The four of us enjoyed flights and a little charcuterie platter. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Wild Elder and I wish I had remembered to return on our way out of town to purchase some items to go.

Came in with my fiance looking to try a flight & charcuterie. After being ID’d, I had mine on me, but she had lost hers hiking the day prior. Although we tried negotiating, no ID = no sale. That’s fine 100%. However, after hearing that this was my fiancé’s top pick, that she was so excited to try your business, all the kid at the front could even muster was “sorry”. We went to Jim Thorpe partially to try this place. I don’t know, maybe I’m different, I would’ve offered a mocktail, food, something other than awkward stares practically begging me to leave.

This place did not have a very welcoming atmosphere at all. Really, almost every business owner in Jim Thorpe is awkward, closed off, uninterested, and avoids eye contact with you. It’s very odd. Maybe it’s the altitude?

The person at the counter was very kind and friendly. I tried the turkey wrap which was okay and the BLT which was amazing. I'm not a fan of slaw so the option for fruit was nice.

I didn't get the food but the wine flight was fantastic and I went home with a bottle of elderberry wine that knocked my socks off. The folks at the counter were friendly and enthusiastic. Absolutely worth a stop.

Strolling through Jim Thorbe, we found this adorable wine and cider shop offering the most delicious Apero Snacks and drinks. In my culture, we call this Apero-Plättli, a delightful spread of appetizers like cheeses, cold cuts, olives, and bread, perfect for sharing and enjoying with a glass of wine. ??? Loved it!

We stopped here while enjoying a trip to Jim Thorpe. Cheryl was a wonderful guide as we tried different wines and made us feel at home. The wine was so good as was the charcuterie board!

Had the cider flight. It was very good. Cute little spot to come to, and the customer service was great! My step dad had the cream ale, and he enjoyed it.
