First time going to Catherine's. We went for Dinner With A Medium. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the experience was wonderful. We sat in the middle, so it did get a little loud, but that was nobody's fault...everyone was excited for the main event. Overall a great time, will definitely return.
The atmosphere is kitschy and somewhat eclectic. When they say they open at 6:00 pm, don't expect them to open 10 seconds sooner than that, regardless of how many people are standing around in the patio area waiting to get in... HINT: do a soft opening, folks.The food was great, but not worth the amount that they are charging. It's clear that they are trying to be an upscale, bougie place that caters to the hipster crowd. Some friends of ours treated us to a meal...
Looking very forward to trying this restaurant, next time we are in Unionville, missed it on last visit. It appears to be a phenomenal place to dine, the last time I was there it was a grocery store, that was about 55 years ago maybe a little more. We lived a couple doors up the street.
