El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant

Had a great time celebrating my son’s 20th birthday 🎂. We had a party of 12, fast serve, great food. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love El Ranchero in Kennett. The food is great, staff is friendly, drink options plentiful. We always end up with enough food to make 2 meals out of it. Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking forward to trying El Ranchero in KSQ for awhile now, and was so glad that I did! The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too! I went there with my family and everyone, including the kids, enjoyed the food. Delicious authentic Mexican dishes with fresh ingredients, fantastic margaritas, and friendly staff. The restaurant decor is lively and fun too. Viva ??!

Vegetarian options: Veggie fajitas had assorted flavorful vegetables and the homemade tortillas are one of the best we have had.

Kid-friendliness: The kitchen customized the dish to my kids liking. They loved it.

Stop in for a few drinks with friends,excellent drinks and wonderful Mexican atmosphere

This place is awesome! The service is top notch, food is great, and the atmosphere is cozy and fun. Prices are wildly reasonable, drinks are great, and beer is cold. Highly recommend your having your next taco Tuesday or Margarita Wednesday at El Ranchero!!

I picked up food during my break, I ordered a torta de milanesa & was highly disappointed in the meat. it was very chewy and non edible .

The new bar combined with the same great menu makes this a hidden gem in Kennett Square. The happy hour and taco Tuesday specials are incredible.

We waited 1 and 38 min for our food. They only had 3 waitresses for the wwhole restaurant, and it was packed. The waitress forgot a couple of the stuff we ordered she kept coming n asking us the same questions about the food we ordered. I have food allegies, and she brought me the wrong thing. The chicken taquitos were hard. People who came before me were still waiting for their food.

My wife and I have been going to El Ranchero for a long time and have always liked it there, never a problem until this just this last time Sat May 3rd 2024 @6:15 PM . My Iphone was stolen by the waiter. I left it on the table. I am ~99.9% sure that he took it because we were the only ones in the restaurant when we left, he had already started cleaning the table when we got up and we went directly home. And I remember leaving the phone on the table. I called later that evening; but they were already close and my phone was turned off. The next day I went back around noon and he was there, so I confronted him, he was very nervous said nothing and he quickly walked away into a office room behind a closed door, the room near the cash register area, and came back out 5+ min later and then he denied it. And I said that I just want my phone back otherwise I will have to deactivate it so you can't use it anyway and I will have to go through a big hassle, and that I would be back at 5PM hoping it would magically appear; but not. And too boot, I gave him a 25% tip that evening, $10 tip on a $40 check, and I was treated like this... disgusting. My son told me to ask if they have video from that evening and to fill out a police report. Normally I would give El Ranchero a 4 star review until this last time. The waitresses know us and have always been friendly nice to us and now this guy, he was young too about 17 yo I'd say. Now I have a big headache from this young man. I am not sure if we will go back or not, my wife says no.
