All Food was flavorful and fresh, mushroom chowder, mussels, Blackberry Pork Loin and Delmonico Beef. Service was attentive. Reasonably priced BYOB. Decor was simple. Nice fireplace. We Would return.

Service was great. There was a large party there at the same time as us. They were loud. The food was just ok. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and they lacked any flavor whatsoever. My husband ordered cheesecake for dessert and it was dry. Overall not a bad experience but it didn't stand out either.

First time patrons, and wondered why it was our first time as living in West Chester. Secluded on route 842, it was the best find we've had in a L-O-N-G time! From our greeting to our departure, we were impressed with the friendly hostess and waitress/server. There were four of us and not 1 complaint about ANYTHING as we sampled each other's appetizer->dessert. We will be back...SOONER, rather than later!!! Thank you, Donna

This review is meant directly for the Hostess. The Stone Barn/Fox Fire has been one of me and my husband's favorite local restaurants for years. We've brought many friends here and have always highly recommended it. Our experience on April 7 however was very disappointing. The head hostess was extremely rude and condescending. We brought my daughter there for her birthday, were enjoying brunch along with the live acoustic music playing through a wireless speaker near our table (the musician was across the other side of the room). We were about mid-meal when the hostess sat two people at a table near us, turned around and roughly handled the speaker (belonging to the musician, not the restaurant), turning it off. We were all disappointed since now we were just hearing the music faintly far away in the background. I politely made an attempt to request that the music be turned back up (at least partially). The hostess' response toward me was unbelievably disrespectful. She spoke down to me as if I were an idiot, then walked away before I could finish what I wanted to say. The two folks seated long after we had been there enjoying ourselves took precedence over us. She made us feel as though our request was unreasonable and offensive; there was absolutely zero willingness of compromise. Just like that the vibe became negative and uncomfortable, we all just wanted to leave. We spoke to the manager about her behavior, he was aloof and unsympathetic (it was obvious he didn't really care). He did apologize and said he'd talk to her, but was just going through the motions and not really sincere. It almost seemed like a joke. We paid our check in full, tipped our server well (she was excellent), and tipped the musician who wonderfully added positive ambiance to the room, despite the nasty hostess who had no respect him or his equipment. Not sure if/when we'll be back, but it definitely won't be if that woman is working there.

Delightful brunch and great service as usual, however, the room was cold from 10-11:15 AM when we left and people throughout had their coats on. Maybe turn the heat on and/or light the fire place at 9 and all will be well??️

Lived in the area for 18 years and never found this place until I saw it on Open Table. Food was incredibly delicious. Fresh vibrant veggies. I ordered the Mad Elf braised short ribs. Practically licked my plate dry! Everyone at the table loved their choices. We will definitely be back.

Always a great experience at Foxfire. The menu has so many great options. The food is so good and a good value for upscale dining. Love that the salads are big enough to share. The Delmonico steak was cooked perfectly and we love that the entrees come with sides such as a starch and some vegetables. I still don't know how their vegetables taste as good as they do, even the grilled cauliflower is fantastic! We also had the crab cakes and a mushroom quesadilla off the back side casual food section. Great dessert menu too. The apple cobbler is enough to share but the chocolate cheesecake was a a little to small to share among four of us. The service was great too. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We will definitely return.

What a wonderful experience we had Foxfire! The ambience was lovely. There was a guitar player who played at the perfect volume so that we could still enjoy our family as well as his beautiful music. The food was simply delicious. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. We will definitely return.

We really enjoy dining at the Fire Fox at the Stone Barn. The food is excellent, we love the cozy atmosphere and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Each of their dining locations (Upstairs, downstairs, and outside) offer a comfortable and inviting dining experience.

Wow ...the salmon and the short ribs melted on contact!!! Sides complimented the dishes perfectly. Portioning was spot on. Jasmine rice, sautéed veggies and mashed potatoes...icing on the cake! Service was great. Attentive and personable. Crackling fire topped it off! Eat here.

Delicious brunch with excellent service from our waiter Nolan. The pork belly skewers were wonderful and the chorizo breakfast egg tacos were filled to the brim with a tasty filling. The fried chicken sandwich was awesome, so tender and juicy with a honey sauce. We enjoyed our meal in this lovely setting!

Our experience at THE STONE BARN was hands down one of the nicest; perhaps... the nicest dining experience we have had in many years. The atmosphere was comfortable. Relaxing. And nicely in a very low key mode... romantic ( note: my wife and I have been married for almost 40 years. The food was presented in a wonderfully styled but unpretentious manner. The portions were more than ample. The food... DELICIOUS. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. The cherry on top of this terrific sundae was the wonderful low key live balladeer who sang beautifully seemingly just to us. Can't wait to go back!!!??

FoxFire at the Stone Barn never disappoints. The restaurant is so cute and cozy with a relaxed barn style. The food is outstanding! The prices are moderately high, but not overpriced. The cheese plate was presented so beautifully and included the best honey I've ever had! I had the Lobster ravioli -- with a whole lobster tail on top....cooked perfectly! Oh my, it was yummy! They were attentive to a food allergy at our table. The deserts were creative and delicious! Our server was delightful. A wonderful experience all the way around.
