Portion sizes were generous and our server was personable. We brought our own wine (BYOB) and were pleasantly surprised by the fact that there wasn't a corkage fee. Would have been nice to not have a "technology fee" added to our check for using a credit card. In this day and age, not many folks are carrying cash in the amount of our check (over $200.00). To me, it seems as if credit card use is pretty typical and " the cost of doing business."“

“We had a wonderful experience working with Tess and OsoSweet Bakery! My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! Everything was delicious and the perfect way to end our race. Plus the shop is ADORABLE! We were sad we didn't have more time to visit and hang out there! Thank you again, Tess!“

“I will come back to Cakes by Kim for every cake purchase in my future. I went to another bakery in Delaware first and was quoted an outrageous $220 price for my son’s birthday cake so I walked out. I proceeded to look up other bakerys in the area and decided to check out Cakes by Kim. Not only was their price insanely reasonable but the cake was DELICIOUS. The best cake I’ve had in years! The cake itself was so moist and the icing was perfection. Everyone at my son’s party was asking where I got it from and wanted extra to take home. Everyone who works inside the bakery is so nice, I don’t have a single bad thing to say.“

“Benny's is my favorite pizza in West Chester. They not only provide excellent food at a great price, but they serve you with a smile and their down to earth attitude makes you feel welcomed into the store. One of my favorite small businesses in all of WC.

“I was in the area for an appointment and got hungry so I went looking s d found PureBreads Deli. It is so cute and comfortable . The staff were very helpful regarding food allergy questions. Whuke i was there an okder gentleman came in and rhe greetes him by his name and said you want your normal..... They care about their customers. They have a contest to design a magnetic for them. You should check it out whether you eat in or take it out it's a definite place to try.

“I went with my group on a Thursday which was a very light evening which allowed my group to enjoy our whole dining experience. Our server had time to explain the menu and make recommendation to our group that included a 4 year old. Why is this relevant? Because, she gave her the same respectful service as she did the adults. Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. The Impossible Sloppy for those who need a vegan option also got a thumbs up. The food comes out hot hot! No one complained! I will be back the next time I am in Delaware.“

“Every item is always so fresh and so delish! From the time you pull in the lot you smell the amazing food! Walking in your eyes certainly have a lot to look at. The amount of items in this market is unreal, every turn I was adding something else into my basket. I’ve had things from here many times before but, this was my first visit in store and definitely won’t be my last. It’s over an hour drive from me but, so so worth it! We bought a lot to bring home and numerous fresh made items to eat there and ofcourse baked goods to snack on, on the way home! I can’t say enough good things about every single thing we’ve had over the past few years and now experiencing the market has made me love it even more!! If we lived closer, wow…it would be my weekly stop and shop! Fresh, delish and ofcourse beautifully displayed! A lot of love goes into every aspect and you can see it and feel it as soon as you walk in the door!!“

“First of all, these cookies are undoubtedly AMAAAAZING. On all of our spontaneous visits - at various times of day & night, on weekdays & weekends - cookies are always fresh-baked (perfectly warm & gooey). During a recent visit to this West Chester location, we were slightly overcharged when we ordered a cookie with some ice cream. Instead of ringing up the combo deal, the two items were charged separately. With a customer waiting behind us, I didn’t want to question the pricing in the moment, but I did send an inquiry to Insomnia Cookie’s website. I was shocked when the West Chester store owner called me a few hours later to discuss what happened and to inform what he would do to prevent the mistake in the future. His EXCELLENT customer service transformed my frustration into loyalty. Next time we’re downtown, I’ll be sure to grab another warm one.“

“The place is clean with a friendly and nice atmosphere! My son and I had Oxtail Pho and Fried Calamari for dinner. It was quite delicious, and we did not have to wait long for the foods to be served. Excellent service! Good reasonable price for the quality of foods! The good nature and friendly chef also was outside at our table greeting us and brought out a good pot of hot tea to start. I had a chance of speaking Vietnamese with him! I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family here!“
