Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen

We visited on Saturday, 8/10, in the afternoon, and the restaurant was very slow. When we walked in, all the staff stared at us, which felt a bit odd. We sat down, and a server came over and quietly mumbled, “Drinks?” The three of us ordered beverages, then waited over 10 minutes before being able to place our food order — despite there being only one other table dining.

When the food arrived, it was absolutely delicious. However, the server never checked back on us. Once we were finished, we had to flag him down for boxes and the check. He dropped the check on the table and walked away, and we again had to wait for him to return to process the card. After bringing it back, he set it down without a word. Over the entire visit, he might have said three words to us.

I understand everyone has off days, but when business is slow, it’s even more important to be friendly and attentive to guests who are paying for good service.

Didnt start out well. Ordered 2 identical drinks which came out completely different. Had to send back to get one fixed. We were told there are 6 pot stickers and got 5. They were not crispy but server said get fried rather than sauteed so they would be crispy. Kitchen didn't get the memo. Food was not anything special. Disappointed that I relied on the reviews of others and they were not accurate. Won't return.

Fantastic all around. Sat at the bar. Bartender came right over to greet us. Drinks & food were superb!!! Look forward to going back!!!

Stopped in for a late lunch and so glad we did. The food was amazing!!!
I had the Salmon Risotto and the for dessert the cinnamon churro cake. Put me right into a food coma & can't wait to go again

Great brunch here! Wasn’t very crowded so we were able to grab a table no problem. Breakfast sandwich was great, my friends also enjoyed the Whiskey Burger and the Mushroom Mac & Cheese. Solid spot.

My wife and I have come here for years and we will not anymore. The atmosphere is now very snobby and we will not be going back. The hostess tonight was great but the bartender was extremely rude to us. And the food is just basic terrible bar food.

Only thing I'd change is make the salad a little bigger or don't call it an entree

The service and food were great! Unfortunately, the drinks were not good. I am not sure if the bartender was having a bad night, but they were hard to drink. Our server was wonderful and we enjoyed everything else.

I played there as part of an acoustic guitar duo. Cool atmosphere, decent food. Shots were a little light. This town reminds me of a mini South St w less crime and better parking. Moment was real nice to us also.

We had four gift cards in hand given to us as a gift. When we presented them they apologized that their system was changed and they cannot process gift cards currently. THEN PUT A SIGN UP FOR PEOPLE ENTERING SAYING THAT “GIFT CARDS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.” The website currently sells gift cards—should be a disclaimer saying that “they don’t work at this time; check back later.” Very frustrating! And no discount was offered for our troubles! Lame!
