Just ordered takeout on DoorDash. My first time It was great! A little cold, but I can’t blame them for that because it was driven 20 minutes to me. Love that they staple the bag shut. It’s just an extra added attention to detail that 1) Keeps people’s fingers out of your food 2) Kept my takeout deviled eggs, exactly where they were supposed to be so they showed up perfectly intact! I got brisket, Macaroni and cheese, String beans, Cornbread, And deviled eggs. Very much enjoyed all of it and we will order again.

We ordered the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket with macaroni and baked beans as well as the firebird chicken sandwich.
The brisket was very tender, but not heavily seasoned... You can tell they wanted the meat to speak for itself. The pulled pork was above average as well. The ribs were tender and tasty.
I did order an Old fashioned that tasted like I added some ginger ale to it. It was good but not a standard old fashioned by any means.
Overall the service was great and the food was excellent. We will definitely be returning!

Gluten free items and a designated gluten free fryer! We had a party of 10, I’m the only GF person. We had loaded fries for an app. I ate the smoked brisket with coleslaw and fries. Everything was delicious and I had no issues.

Unfortunately I was quite underwhelmed with the food, perhaps I heard so many good recommendations about this place that my expectations were too high. The brisket platter was so.... Meh. It tasted and looked more like a roast beef. The brisket on the nachos was actually better/not as chewy, maybe because it was shredded and drowning in cheese sauce. I generally don't like sausage but I liked it here especially in comparison with the brisket disappointment, it was meaty and smokey. Sweet potato fries were good. The atmosphere is really pleasant and the restaurant felt very homey/cozy. It got fully packed around 6pm Friday night. The service was also pleasant even though a tad slow.

Delicious brisket nachos! They had barbecue sauce along with cheese and sour cream. Tender meat. Quick service. Drew was friendly and efficient. Turkey Avocado BLT and both the beef cheesesteak and portobello mushroom cheesesteak sandwiches were tasty, large and satisfying. Clean and family friendly.
