Great barbecue food, wonderful menu ! The atmosphere is so relaxing , welcoming and decorated in a fun local style. I met my sister there for a leisurely lunch, we dined in, sampled a local brew, great barbecue and of course finished with a yummy Hoods homemade dessert. This place is a hidden gem.

Nice place, we were camping up the road and wanted a nice dinner after setting up. We got the new server but he did a great job. Had the 1/2 rack of ribs and two meats, pulled pork and brisket with mac & Chese and Baked beans. Well worth it! Oh, the Biscuit was very good too! Wife had the burnt ends, there enough food we took half the meal home and will have for lunch tomorrow. I wish the did breakfast!
Great stop in Unionville, food is fantastic along with service. I’ve driven past multiple times on my motorcycle, always actively here, good sign. Also took a fresh baked apple pie home, where else can you do that? Will be back.

Super friendly service. Meats were all delicious but I like to judge bbq places by their sides too. And hoods delivered! Some of the best cornbread I’ve ever had. Baked beans were delicious. Coleslaw was awesome too. Nice atmosphere. Bar was a separate entity that you have to go to get your owns drinks that’s not ideal but no deal breaker. Definitely check this place out.
