My husband works in the area and brought home the chicken tenders last night. An hour drive home and they were still delicious!! If you haven't tried them, you must!

Solid fried chicken and fries. We had the Wings platter - 3 perfectly fried wings and a boatload of awesome fries. Crispy heaven, not too greasy, tender meet cooked to perfection, and no overpowering “gamey” smell (I.e. presumably fresh chicken).
We also tried the chicken tendies… which were awesome (feel sorry for the folks who eat McDonald’s nuggets).
The honey ice tea was the bomb!!!!! Perfect.
Only reason didn’t give 5 stars is because there are no “spicy” options…. No spicy sauces and no spicy fried chicken. I guess we can wish for it…
Highly recommend … we will definitely be visiting again - to try the sandwiches and the wedge salad….
Please eat responsibly….. this is the kind of food you can indulge in may be once every two months….tasty but not healthy.

The mac n cheese I ordered was delicious!! My friend got the Nashville burger and she really liked it! The people at Kennett Chicken were really nice and helpful - I am very picky and they were very patient with my many questions. We went on a weekend evening and there were a lot of people but there were enough tables for everyone, but you do have to look around.

Everything Carlos makes here is both delicious and a great value. The chicken sandwiches and loaded fries are massive. The fries and fry sauce are spectacular. If you’re lucky you’ll catch him taking orders but otherwise service is excellent. I definitely recommend checking out his other shop in the marketplace Kaboburritos.

This was my first time trying this place, I honestly didn't know we had a Kennett chicken until I googled food around us ! looked at my husband grabbed my keys drove there & when I came home and opened my food I was Soo shocked how big the tenders are !!! My husband loved his O.G chicken sandwich & we both LOVED THE FRIES & THERE SPECIAL SAUCE!!! 10/10 will be recommended to everyone!!! This is my new go to chicken tender & chicken sandwich spot ?? !!!& The staff where sweetheart ?!

HIGHLY recommend!! Our new favorite fried chicken around, for a very fair price!The chicken sandwich was incredible! It was fried to perfection and had some honey that added a sweetness that was amazing!The combo meal came with the hand cut fries, which we were actually amazed by. They are very thick, and we all thought there was no way they wouldn’t be undercooked or overcooked, but somehow they were also fried to absolute perfection!The Nashville chicken sandwich was also absolutely delicious, but definitely not as spicy as authentically dipped Nashville style, that we expected. Do NOT be worried about how spicy the sandwich is; all the heat felt like it came from the sweet chili sauce and the people in our group who don’t like spice, could handle the heat. It has a little spice, but I definitely would not call it HOT.We also got the chicken tenders which were the best of the bunch if you just wanted plain fried chicken. They were fried to perfection, like everything else! My personal wish was they would’ve added some honey drizzled, or on the side, as it elevated the chicken sandwich in such a huge unexpected way.The Mac and Cheese was the most divisive of the food we got in our group. I felt it had a bit of a smoky flavor, that I really enjoyed, and was baked to be crisp on top and more cheesy/gooey in the center & bottom. Really had to mix it if you wanted it to be at all creamy. Some in our group thought it was baked too crisp and wasn’t as gooey and cheesy as they wanted. If the dish added some sort of Parmesan bread crumbs I think it would be a lot better and more deserving of its price tag.We felt overall the price for the chicken sandwiches and tenders were really great; especially the combos! The Mac and cheese felt overpriced comparatively, both in the amount of food gotten and the quality of the dish overall, but it was being compared to, what I think is my new BEST fried chicken in the area!Overall really incredible food, in a really great family friendly indoor market environment!

Parking: ~30 spots in the parking lot that are only for customers of “The Market”. There is also plenty of on street parking around. The parking lot is steep and can be a little difficult with someone with a disability or mobility difficulties.

Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly atmosphere, even though part of “The Market” is an open pub. Lots of families with kids. The place was also super clean and not loud. A really great environment for everyone.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are not enough disability spots near the entrance and the parking lot is on a pretty steep hill. Steep enough you can’t keep your car door open unless the door is swung all the way. Can be hard for someone with mobility challenges.

We had an event at our office on Friday night and were going to order Chic Fil A; last minute we decided to use Kennett Chicken instead, and we were so happy we did! We ordered the chicken sliders, with sauces on the side, and our guests raved about them, and in some cases went back for seconds. We will definitely do this again but need to order more next time! Thank you Carlos for making it happen!

Visited during Mushroom festival. While waiting for the rest room a lady asked me if I've ever had Kennett Chicken. She raved about how good it was. We were going to get pizza but my family decided to try Kennett Chick. " It's so good, better than KFC" Is what my son said after the first bite. To top it off, Carlos came around and asked how it was. We raved to him about the taste and he told us to try the wings. Which he brought out to us. Haven't had someone this personable, friendly and courteous interact with us in a long time. Go visit them. You'll enjoy the service and meal!!!!

Wife and I stopped for 1st time. wife ordered the loaded fries and I got the buffalo fries. Wife’s came back really good but my buffalo fries was more like buffalo soup. There was so much sauce on it you could only taste it nothing else. When the lady who made it came out and asked how it was. I told we her my thoughts on it and she just shrugged her shoulders. So probably won’t order again.
