I got the Nashville hot chicken combo. The food was excellent. The boardwalk fries were exceptionally good. By far the best fries I’ve ever had. I know how hard it is to cook thicker fries so I am very impressed how good it was. The owner and employees there are also very nice. After I complimented them the owner came out and talked to me personally. This honestly might be the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant. Highly recommend trying this place. I’ll be back next week for sure to eat here again.

Overall, this place is pretty good. I have to say that chicken sandwich was phenomenal. Super crunchy on the exterior, super moist on the interior solid flavor. I will say the fries were not my favorite but the cheese sauce and whatever side sauce they gave me was delicious. I will 100% be back.

Kennett Chicken is unlike any chicken tender you will ever taste. This is a place that should be featured on Triple D.

We are Kennett locals and have been coming to this place several times a year since they’ve opened - an absolute hidden gem loved by the young and old.

This past visit I had the pleasure of meeting the family that owns the establishment. As a purveyor of good people - these folks were certainly that - you can tell they all come from good stock, and inherently make great food (I won’t say the preparation that was disclosed that makes such an incredible tender, you’ll have to find out yourself).

You will not be disappointed - this is a life changing chicken tender. Not to mention the other items on the menu (and the sauces, can’t forget the sauces) are outstanding.

Pro tip - just get it to go, the portions are huge and these platters are just as good heated in the oven the next day - and for the love of god - make sure you have extra sauces!

I advise everyone who frequents or is considering ordering in this place to be very vigilant about the way your water ice is being served. I am a first time customer and lifelong resident here; the way my water ice was served today was unsanitary. I ordered two cups, the first one I wasn't really paying attention as I had my toddler with me. The second one gets scooped out to the sides of the freezer going out of the water ice container and gets picked up again and placed in the cup, he then proceeds to keep scooping more after he's contaminated it all, and then he somehow drops the whole cup and manages to catch it with his arm where the water ice touched his skin and gets water ice on himself and proceeds to finish scooping and hands it to me as if that's acceptable. It's disgusting, they should not be allowed to continue these unsanitary practices. Might need to call the health department.

Had wing platter with boardwalk fries and honey tea. Nothing special about wings or fries. Chicken portions were nice size and crispy but not much flavor in breading. Boardwalk style fries were large but were hard just as review summary states. They don’t compare to the fries you get at shore fromThrashers I think it’s called. Honey tea was very good. Overall pretty average and 3 stars. Not bad and not great.

The loaded fries are always fantastic.

Not sure what's going on here recently. I love their buffalo chicken, slaw and Mac n cheese (all some of the best I've had). It's extremely good.

However lately, service has been spotty, orders have been incorrect (only realize it when I get home), fries were like bricks. This place is normally a fantastic quick option, but not worth it if every time I visit, something else goes wrong. Happy to adjust my rating if future visits are better.

Delicious chicken and Best fries 🍟 ever! I like to come here once a week toget always the same ( tender platter with fries) I can feel the freshness of the tenders and what can I say about the fries, just the best crispy fries around the area! Cashier always friendly and it seems very clean around as well!

Service was greatt but unfortunately I was let down today at Kennett chicken tho :( I asked for chicken tenders platter with fries my chicken was great but my fries where very hard.. tasted double dipped in oil ... Yuck, if I would have known my experience today was going to be like this I would have just went to Chick-fil-A up the street especially paying $15 ... Very disappointed.

Located inside The Market food court. For a chicken spot, your choices are limited to chicken strips platter, wing platter, or a sandwich. The counter person was not very helpful or cheerful. The food itself, I got the strips, were tasty and moist but not worth the $14 for 3 strips and a handful of fresh cut fries. The atmosphere in this market was a little bit off as they were playing some kind of Bingo when I visited. The plus is the various food options under one roof.

I come here twice a month sometime the food has inconsistences in the last 6 months todays chicken sandwich the Nashville was missing the red hot sauce and for the first-time the chicken was dry and the fries were so over cook it was like chewing wood

I have been here twice and both times the food was even better than i anticipated. I got the buffalo chicken fries the first time and the Nashville chicken sandwich the second. The breading toppings, fries and all were top notch. My only complaint would be in the chicken sandwich i got two chewy pieces of chicken, a little more trimming and id have zero complaints.

Had the Nashville and the OG chicken sandwiches. Fabulous — and large.
