This is our go-to place for Mexican takeout in Kennett Square. We regularly get the special meat burrito with lomo (seasoned shredded pork), burrito with asada, and chicken quesadilla. The huaraches and enchiladas are also really good. All meals come with a ton of food. They give you little hot sauce containers and limes to go with your meal. There’s a small eating area where you often find people dining, but we typically to takeout because we order during the week and the food travels well. They’re always really quick when we call; about 15 minutes and the food is ready.
The owner is almost always the one who answers the phone and greets you when you come in. You can tell that he cares about his restaurant and making his customers happy, and you can feel good that you’re supporting a small local business, not a big chain. (If you happen to be helped by someone other than the owner, like a moody teen, don’t let it put you off).
The prices are reasonable, especially considering how much food you get.
One note: PAY CASH or you’ll be charged a credit card fee that they don’t even tell you about. This is the one complaint I have about this place. I know that many businesses are now doing this, but there are no signs in the restaurant warning of this fee and if you tell them you’re paying by card, they type a higher amount into the credit card machine without telling you.
The small parking lot could definitely be repaved and the building looks a little iffy in its lighting and placement among car repair shops and an apartment construction site, but it all adds to the feeling that you’ve found a hidden gem.
Parking: Not too many spots, but I’ve never found it totally full. Pavement is bumpy with lots of holes.

5 stars all the way around. It’s authentic. The best part is the flavor of the food. The best flavors that Mexican food has to offer. My favorite taco place in the tri state area. Hands down! You missed out by not coming here.
Dietary restrictions: Fit me because I don’t eat pork. Respected my religion.
Kid-friendliness: Super friendly service and amazing.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could
If this isn’t the best Mexican place within a 50 mile radius of here, then I want to try the place that beats it.
All you really need are a couple of basic tacos, rice and beans, and some chips and pico with guac. Whole meal is under 20 bucks and you’ll have enough for leftovers. The flavors are all outstanding and fresh.
Eating at places like these is always better than eating at fancy places. This food feeds your soul.

A very unassuming Mexican restaurant, frequented by local Mexicans. Basic decor, service exacting, with no fanfare. Portions, massive and delicious. Cooks, similar to what you would expect in an authentic Mexican household. You know it's going to be good and didn't disappoint. A hidden gem and must try!!! Also offer takeout.

When passing by and seeing the drawings of the guy from 8, this place caught my attention and we decided to go in to find out more, the dynamic is different from what we are used to, you order and pay first, they bring you your food and you eat, the service is always very cordial From the owner or manager, in my opinion, the food is good, but we didn't pay attention when ordering tamales, which were only pork, which we don't like personally.

Great Tacos at a Great Price. This place is better than the sum of it's individual Stars. It's Tiny. It's Quirky. It's Reasonably Priced. If only you could get a beer! There are plenty of international, non-alcoholic choices. Just Go.

Have visited this place more than once and enjoyed each visit. The owner and people working there are very kind and the food is made fresh to order. Our staples are:
Chips and pico de gallo - hot crispy fresh made chips with the most flavorful pico de gallo
Enchiladas platter - always delicious with bright and deep flavors that have a great kick in terms of heat and the rice and beans are very flavorful
Tacos - our favorite is the fried pork but we love all the meat options
Next time promise to add pictures since we devoured it so quickly we missed the opportunity
I have enjoyed their food for years. Friendly staff, and authentic, delicious
