The desserts at La Verona are a must try. The panna cotta was light and silky. I can't wait to return for more.

It’s always a pleasure dining at La Verona. The garlic shrimp was a highlight of my meal, and the pacing was great.

The most fabulous restaurant in Kennett Square by far! The host seated our party of 5 immediately, we were greeted by Chelsea who was absolutely wonderful! Food is authentic Italian and delicious, service is above and beyond. Totally delightful experience! Highly recommended

Very disappointed in both the food and the ambiance. The restaurant has a cafeteria-style vibe that lacks warmth. We ordered the Branzino and Mahi-Mahi, and both were completely drowned in sauce, making the fish look unappealing and taste indistinguishable. The only highlight was the side of broccoli. If you are in the mood for fish, I would suggest looking elsewhere. We won't be making a second attempt.
The food & drinks were absolutely fantastic. Our server Megan was also 1000/10

Visited on a cold January Sunday evening after visiting Longwood Gardens. We were 30 minutes early for our reservation but were cheerfully seated immediately close to an inviting gas fireplace. Our server, Nick, soon appeared to take our drink order and gave us time to review the menu. My Negroni and my partner's chardonnay were promptly served and well prepared and reasonably priced for these days. Our food, an excellent fresh bruschetta appetizer followed by entrees of lasagna and a chicken and pepper ziti with nicely spiced arrabbiata were served hot and were great! Both priced fairly. No dessert last night. Not fancy, but pleasant surroundings in an older building in Kennett. Worth a visit. We'll be back.
This place deserves more than 5 stars for food and service! I went with my family of 5. We made a reservation on Open Table about 2 hours before our seating time. My picky eater said the Caesar salad was the best she'd ever eaten. My veal saltimbocca was different than all the other times I've eaten that dish, and La Verona's is the best I've had. My family also enjoyed the fried mozzarella, kids spaghetti, and veal parm. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate!
The only thing better than the food was the service. I wish I remembered our servers name but he was an older gentleman that was so attentive to our needs- even on a Saturday night! We will be returning soon!

Great food and plenty of it! The service was also very good. Dan was friendly and there when we wanted him. Looking forward to enjoying my leftovers.
Always a pleasant experience. Food is phenomenal!! We keep returning. Great place to grab lunch or dinner before going to Longwood Gardens. We highly recommend!

We were able to reserve ahead for 7 and they took us right on time. It wasn't super busy the night we were there, but it certainly has the space to accommodate multiple large family tables and the bar is quite big as well. Beer list and wine list are very balanced and the food was very good, price was consistent with the menu items and the menu specials were interesting as well.
New Years Eve was extremely busy so tables were backed up. We expected that. We also assumed kitchen would be backed up and service would be slowed. But it wasn't. We totally enjoyed the food. Everything was right. The two servers assigned to us were awesome! They were very accommodating and attentive. Thank you LaVerona for serving your community so well.
This restaurant is the best great menu This restaurant has great services awesome fantastic food and desserts.
Been coming here for many years and didn't know there was an overflow dining room way in the back of the restaurant. The ambience in this room was not as fun and lively as the main dining areas in the front of the restaurant, especially for a New Year's dinner in town. Will definitely request NOT to be seated there next time, IF we come back. The New Year's menu was overpriced. $45 for four scallops. $41 for shrimp scampi. $11 for single serve salads. The credit card fee of 4% is absolutely ridiculous, especially with what they are charging for the food you get. Granted everything tasted great but way overpriced for what you get.
Pasta dishes were delicious and great portions. Scallop dish was extremely small portion for $40. I got 4 scallops, a small scoop of risotto and broccoli. It looked more like a child's dinner. Waiter was average at best. He didn't bring us enough bread for our party and we had to ask for more. He took our drink order first but didn't bring us menus until after he delivered drinks. Our dishes came out a couple at a time and with our large party of 13, that was annoying. We were put in a back room and basically felt like an after note. Everytime we needed something, we had to go search it out. So they added 20 percent for the large party and I felt like we got 10 percent worth of service. I truly believe he was overburdened that night and should have had help with wait staff. That's too bad ...
