Phenomenal dinner; spinach and mushroom ravioli was perfectly prepared with a lingering taste of truffle oil. Every bite savory and delicious. Could have eaten another plate. Partner had sea bass special combined with risotto and broccoli.

We have eaten at this restaurant for the last few years when we've come for the Kennett Square light parade. The first few times, the food was amazing and that's why we kept coming back. Tonight the food was not impressive. My food and my mother's was cold when it arrived. It also wasn't as good as it had been. I used to think about this dish often between visits it was that good, and this time it was meh. My husband ordered the saltimbocca and it came out with a tomato based sauce which is not how saltimbocca is usually prepared. It did say tomato based in the description but since this is a standard dish prepared a common way, he didn't read the description and was surprised by it. It also wasn't impressive so had it been really good, he might not have minded the difference. For an expensive meal that we usually walk away from having thoroughly enjoyed, this was overall disappointing. The server also brought out my youngest's food a good 15-20 minutes before the rest of our food. We didn't ask for that nor did he ask if we wanted his food brought out early. I understand some people prefer that, but we don't and it should never be assumed.
This was our first visit; the restaurant was absolutely swamped with business as it was the night of the Kennett Square Christmas parade. Regardless, the staff was courteous and friendly. The food came out quickly and was well prepared. If I had one thing that wasn't awesome it would be to say that the grilled octopus was just a touch overcooked and chewy; this likely was because the kitchen was extremely busy. We will be back and will try that octopus appetizer again!
Lauren is my favorite bartender. The bar can be full and everyone gets the same amount of attention and care.

The only good thing I can say about this place was the waiter, Lalo who was attentive and lovely. The place was basically empty when I showed up alone (74 year old woman). Instead of seating me in the front dining room where there were other people I was sat facing the back of the restaurant alone in the large back dining room. That felt weird. Ordered chicken piccata. The chicken was dry and tough. The decafe cappuccino was weak and basically tasteless. Won't be going back.
We went about three weeks ago and had such a good experience we went back this past Friday. Another wonderful experience. Service was amazing, food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing. Prices are great considering how nice it is. I am usually not an Italian restaurant fan in the first place but their menu is so varied it has something for everyone. Do yourself a favor and go!

Reasonably priced, not crowded and easy parking for a Friday lunch. Prompt and friendly service. I had the Kennett (mushroom) sandwich. My guest had the langostinos (one of the day's specials). Both were very good. Recommended!
Tender veal piccata, excellent appetizers and desserts, gnocchi just ok. Very friendly and attentive service.

Entrees good, however, chicken piccata was not dredged in flour, it was served bare which was odd, but sauce & potatoes delish & dessert good, tiramisu. Service was slow.

Wonderful dinner. Highly recommend! The capellini scampi was probably the best I've ever had!
I had such a fantastic experience at the bar last night, and it was all thanks to Jalyn! From the moment I sat down, Jalyn was super friendly and attentive. She knows her stuff when it comes to cocktails. I asked for something a little different, and she whipped up the most amazing drink. Seriously impressive!
But it wasn't just the drinks; Jalyn's awesome personality really made the night. She was chatting with all the customers, making everyone feel welcome and creating such a fun atmosphere.
If you're heading to La Verona, definitely look for Jalyn.

Absolutely delicious meals (mushroom soup, ravioli). Service provided by Lalo was top of the line. He was very attentive never needing to wait for service when needed. This is a goto stop whenever I am in town.

We had a wonderful meal at an outside table in the alley on the side of the restaurant. The food was delish, as always. Next time I go, I'm ordering the grilled artichoke and prosciutto appetizer as my meal and I'm not sharing! Lalo, our server, was fantastic. He made the meal memorable.
Cozy seats. Not super loud or crowded. I got the steak, husband got the duck. I felt my steak was swimming in the sauce that it drenched the starch and the veggies on my plate. It was really way too much sauce. Less is more and the customer can always add more but my husband's duck was also swimming in the sauce it came with . The artichokes were cooked well and the olives were mild. It was good but we're not in a rush to come back either. Risotto cooked well. Please offer more gluten and dairy free options. I could barely find anything that met my dietary restrictions
