I'm not a huge fan of buffets. I don't like getting up and down when I'm dining and conversing with people ... and to be truthful I eat so much more at a buffet than I normally would. Saying that of course I've been in my life to a number of Chinese, Indian, breakfast, and brunch buffets. But I hadn't been to a Mexican one before and that's where Los 5 Arcos came into play. This unassuming Mexican cantina in a strip shopping center in Kennett Square, PA is known for its buffet and I had to try it out. Well I'm glad I did as I found the food decent to good to very tasty. Of course I ate too much but there were too many things to try. And the friendly manager brought over fresh hot tortillas for me which I couldn't resist. I especially liked the carnitas, the nopales, and the very tasty albondigas . The two flans on the dessert table (a caramel and a vanilla one) were excellent but the dessert highlight was their delicious capirotadas. I know this sweet treat is mostly served during the Lenten season in Mexico so I am really happy to have found it on the dessert table at Los 5 Arcos in October! And finally I should mention there was a vegan Mexican soy salad that I have no idea what the actual name of it is - but I can tell you it was addictive, In fact I wish they put names next to all the foods ... although it is mostly Mexicans who eat here and they probably don't need the name tags. Fortunately I know enough about Mexican food that I could identify most of the offerings. There's nothing at all fancy about Los 5 Arcos but if you might enjoy a Mexican buffet, you might like it as I did. By the way the buffet costs less than ten dollars. You read that correctly!!

Really reasonably priced and a great buffet that does change so your not getting the same stuff every time. Can also order ala carte. Great service too! A new favorite spot!

Been here a couple of times, I really like it. The fact that is a Mexican buffet is even better, every time I go to a Mexican restaurant I want to try different dishes but don't want to pay for all of them since I won't eat all of it, but in here you can get a taste of: sopes, mole, tocas dorados, albondigas, flan etc etc all for one price and you decide how much you want to it. Too bad is hiding and barely known to people.

Good authentic Spanish food. Friendly staff. This is only a buffet, but they can make you something special if needed. The meats and meatballs were especially good. A few items seemed to have sat a while, but overall was fresh. They can also bring fresh tortillas to the table. The deserts (rice pudding, flan and cheros) were very good. Was not very busy on a Saturday night at all, got a table right away.

Loved the food traveled from Reading , Pa to eat some Mexican. We were going to eat at this restaurant my dad recommended and stopped by here told us this place is new. Asked us if we wanted to go where he had planned for us to go or eat here so we said let's eat here! Loved loved the food you can tell it hand made food from scratch! Loved the pozole also the waitress that was waiting on is was so friendly! ! Definitely coming back
