Tonight was our first night trying Portabello’s. We had an excellent dinner! My wife had the chicken parmigiana and I had the stroganoff. We shared the chocolate decadence cake for dessert. Had an excellent server named Erica. We will be back.

Very good italian restaurant with nice solo live jazz background music. Very nice atmosphere. I had meatball with a hollow spaghetti which I forget the name of. My sweetheart had very good Halibut special.

Kennet Square is famous for being the mushroom growing capital of the United States. Portabellos makes good use of the area's unique feature. The menu is heavily weighted with mushroom dishes using many different types of mushrooms. The mushroom soup is a must have for mushroom lovers.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere is sophisticated and attractive, yet it is unpretentious the menu has something for someone (great entrees but also pizzas and nice appetizers) and the food is delicious. Service has always been great. We keep going back because it is appealing on many levels.

We were there on Saturday ( a party of 6) for dinner after spending the day at Longwood Gardens. Our server Jennifer was excellent. She was very good at her job and you could tell that she enjoyed it. The wait wasn't very long. We ordered a variety of appetizers, dinner and dessert. Food was very good. The salmon dish and chicken Parmesan were our highlights. The firecracker shrimp appetizer was delicious. We thought it was good enough to stand on its own without the accompanying dip. At around 6pm, there was an entertainer who played the piano and sang jazz. He was good. It made the ambiance fun. Music volume was just right - not too loud that we couldn't carry a conversation.

Beautiful cozy restaurant. Excellent service and outstanding food. We wanted to try the mushroom soup and it did not disappoint, it was delicious. I had the Portabello ravioli, love that it was very stuffed and the flavor exceeded my expectations. My husband had the gemelli and it was very flavorful too. Highly recommended.
