Sweet Amelia's has been a staple in our family for the last two years. Whether it's a family dinner, date night, or a just because meal, the food is always incredible. We were lucky enough to join one of their events dinners on a farm last year and it was an amazing experience. We love the rotating, seasonal menu but our favorite is definitely the chicken skin tea sandwiches. The atmosphere, staff, and menu make this place a must try!

My favorite restaurant in Kennett Square! We go every month, at least once. There has never been a menu that has disappointed us. The chefs are truly masters of their craft and the staff are always so welcoming. Any time someone asks me where to eat in Kennett, I always tell them to go to Sweet Amelia’s. Especially as a vegetarian, they create options that go beyond the usual suspects and are truly delicious.

My husband and I were passing through Kennett Square, and we decided to stop here for brunch.
We were blown away. A husband and wife team own and operate the restaurant. They also source seasonal, local produce. You can tell they put so much thought and care into every dish. The food was divine. I can’t speak more highly of this restaurant. We will definitely be coming back!!

Lovely atmosphere and wonderful service. 3/4 of our dishes were very tasty, but one was not. Also I'd say the prices are high.
Of the starters, the falafel was delicious. Definite winner. The tempura silverfish (similar to fried calamari) was also tasty.
Wine service was good for a small restaurant, with my partner offered the chance to taste before making a selection. Appreciated.
The main course of Halibut was very good and cooked perfectly, too.
The lamb? Well, it wasn't lamb. Physically, the bone was way too large. This was mutton. I have eaten lamb for decades and the musky taste and tougher, more greasy nature of this meat clearly came from an adult sheep. Probably a male sheep. This was disappointing. The accompanying root vegetables were appropriate and tasty. The rice was clumpy though.
Sadly, that one dish of, figuratively, mutton dressed up as lamb, was a disappointment.
The food is unbelievable. Things I would never think to try but the chefs know exactly what they’re doing! We had 2 with celiacs in our party and the chef personally came out to make sure they were satisfied and reassured of the measures they took for allergies. I believe the menus change monthly with all in season produce and items. It was so good, can’t recommend enough.
Everything was fantastic. The service, the ambiance, and the food were all 10/10.
Fantastic. 10/10. A+
This was the best meal we have had a in a long time. My father, a man who prefers boiling his hot dogs, will not stop talking about the chicken skin tea sandwich he tried.
The service and atmosphere were exceptional. We cannot wait to come back.
Loved this place! Not only is it a local hidden gem, the menu changes seasonally with farm to table food.
Our favorites were the wagyu (mashed potatoes were amazing) and the cacio de pepe.
