Possibly one of the best meals we've had in the last 10 years! From start to finish bread, amazing mushroom soup and an 18oz delmonico steak ( done to perfection ). Finished off with a hot chocolate crème brûlée yummmmmm! Server ( Mariah ) was very friendly and attentive.
Wow!! What a meal!

My wife and I recently visited the Stone Barn to celebrate our 12th Anniversary. We used to have brunch there all the time >15 years ago, but had not been in quite a while since we moved further away. I'm hOpy to report that the quality is still fantastic, the service is still amazing, and it's just as good as it's ever been. We were very glad to have made the trip down.

Phenomenal place to enjoy an exquisite meal in a wonderful Chester County atmosphere. Food combinations were seasonal and fresh. The greens tasted like they were just garden-picked! Top notch service. Highly recommend.

My wife and I used to live close to the Stone Barn and would have brunch here often. 15 years ago though, we moved a bit farther away and had not been there since. It was our 12th anniversary and our babysitter was only available in the early afternoon, so we made the drive out to the Stone Barn and enjoyed a fantastic brunch. Everything was still amazing, from the food to the service to the ambiance. It was great being able to reminisce about all our good times 15 years ago during our anniversary brunch, and I'm hoping we are able to make the drive out there again soon.

Blasting loud music from wedding on site, can hear it very loudly in restaurant dining room. Mgmt did not give a heads up about this when we made reservation. So loud we needed to leave. Call ahead and specifically ask if there's an event when you are having a meal there. A shame bc we went here years ago and it was lovely.

We recently went to the Stone Barn on Thursday night. We wanted a nice dinner and sit outside. We called in advance to make sure it wasn't too late to be seated. Karen, as always was gracious and courteous. Upon arrival she found a table outside and Gabby was our server. We have been loyal customers of this beautiful gem on route 842. There has never been a bad or mediocre meal. I recently ran into one of the 5th generation owners, Ms. Thomforde. Simply chatting with her reminded me that it was time to go back for another great meal. The best part, it's BYOB and we get to bring our favorite wine instead of purchasing an overpriced bottle. If you haven't been there, I strongly suggest you get there for great service, great atmosphere, and a great meal. My suggestions: the Delmonico Steak, the Cornish Hen, or the Chicken Parm with homemade linguini. Just get there!!!

When I made the reservation I didn't realize it was BYOB. The hostess directed us to a wine shop about 6 miles away and we found what we needed to complete the meal. A surprisingly good value was the Caesar salad with salmon, a portion large enough for two ($24). Beautiful country setting.

Food runner delivered our food to another table. The other table had started eating the toast so she delivered our meals after removing said toast. Several minutes and a reminder later we received full meal. We asked to sit by fire which we were told was reserved . We left 1.5 hours later and that area was still completely empty.

Very good service, nice atmosphere. Squash fritters, shrimp and grits were excellent. The veal schnitzel, unfortunately, was bland and needed a sauce or something to give it more flavor than the breading.
