Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse

Outside is nice, inside is beautiful but noisy. Wait staff is always lovely and personable.

We were introducing two of our closest friends to this wonderful restaurant and we were anxious to hear their reactions referencing their first time experience. As soon as they entered the restaurant they couldn't get over how beautiful it looked, how large the bar area was and how elegant the dining room looked. We were shown to our favorite table in the corner. Our server Daniel came over, we remembered him from our past visit and he remembered us as well, it was great to see him again. While we were enjoying our cocktails our friends were looking over the very extensive menu and could not get over the variety of choices that they had before them. After much deliberation we had decided on the Caesar salad, the spinach salad, the chicken livers and the cheesesteak spring rolls which were all absolutely delicious. For our entrées, one of our guests ordered the salmon and was raving over it. Our other guest ordered the lobster risotto and he as well could not stop talking about how delicious it was. We ordered the prawns Fuseli and the 10 ounce fillet, we were thrilled to bits with our choices. We ended this wonderful dining experience by ordering the affogato and the cheesecake for our desserts which we all enjoyed immensely. I must mention that our guests were completely taken back with the popovers that were served earlier on with our meal. Daniel did a phenomenal job in showcasing Davio's A+ service right through our entire meal. He pulled out all the stops and catered to everyone's requests no matter how unusual they were. Even Jason the manager, stopped over a couple of times to check on us. Our friends were really blown away with the level of service at this wonderful restaurant and the quality of the food. Not only can they not wait to return. Thanks to Daniel, Jason and every person that approached our table to either deliver or take away the food, everyone could not have been more kind, more gracious and more attentive.

I have eaten here (and the former Philadelphia location) maybe two dozen times over the years. This was the worst meal I've ever had, and the response from management made the overall experience even more disappointing. This will be my last time there, never again.

2nd time visiting Davio's. Very nice restaurant, staff are attentive and professional. Food is very good dessert included. I little pricey but worth it.

Disappointing. Drinks just ok. expensive. house wine sub par. Food was just okay, mediocre. won't go back.

Soup was spoiled and the pasta was super salty. The other food ordered was ok but for the price I would have expected a lot more

Just amazing! Mossimo took care of us and everything was fantastic. Filet and Short Rib were both amazing. The Baked Alaska paired with an espresso and Affogato were the perfect finish. Will definitely be back, excited

Amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere and vibe were fantastic, and the customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. I highly recommend this steakhouse and will definitely be coming back!

We spent $300 per couple and the overall experience was very disappointing. Repeat - Very disappointing

Popovers - clearly baked in the AM and re-heated (not fresh)

We ordered a bottle of wine and had to call the waiter over to order it twice

My wife sat nearly 10 minutes with an empty wine glass before he offered to get her a refill (she was not drinking from the bottle we finally received)

We had to refill the men's glasses from the bottle because our waiter was absent

One of our diners received an alcohol-based drink rather than the refill of her non-alcoholic wine. If she was a recovering alcoholic this would have been disastrous !!! - they replaced it and apologized but this is inexcusable.

A dinner came incorrectly and had to be re-done (wrong order entirely)

When presenting the dessert tray there was literally no explanation of the desserts. So disappointing, I (and others) had every intention of or dessert but were dumbfounded at the complete lack of competence highlighting the desserts.

I've been to high end steak houses in many cities in the USA and elsewhere. This was a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience

The final insult was that they added 20% gratuity to the bill. I deducted a few $ from the total to send a message, but didnt want to be overly harsh.... It will be interesting to see if they accept my deduction.

It is hard to express my disappointment here !!

My coworker and I decided to go in for a couple of drinks and we were excited about trying the drinks since we had never been there; we ended up leaving almost immediately because we were (greeted) by the bartender, older guy, awful attitude towards us and literally the little time we were there he was just giving us looks as if it was our fault that he had to take care of us. Very disappointed

Would not recommend to family/friends.

Service: 2 stars. Waiting time to serve the food needs major improvement.
Food: 2 stars. Everything is too salty. Clam chowder has more cheddar cheese than actual meat, it turned out to be a cheesy soup. Steaks are too dry and already cold when served.
Overall experience was below satisfactory.
