Excellent

Service was terrible. Our waitress was not attentive to our table. Our food was not served together. Appetizers and desserts were served at different times for different people at the table with a 20 min difference with appetizers and 10 minutes with desserts. Martinis were very weak. I expected better.

I had the opportunity to dine at J Alexander’s last night and was completely unimpressed. The restaurant was dead and we had to wait to be seated because no one was there to welcome us in. The waiter was unhelpful and barely made eye contact with us. We ordered the burger with a side of broccoli and a salad. Something looked strange with some pieces of broccoli and the burger looked like warmed up frozen patties. The salad was just ok. The jumbo shrimp made up for the lack of taste. We had a pear martini and old fashion. The drinks were just ok. Overall, service, not good, food, not good, and drinks, not great. There’s so many options in KOP, do yourself a favor and choose another establishment.

Fish, chops and asparagus were overcooked. Dry and hard to cut. Service was slow but the place was half empty. Had to ask for bread and flag down waitress for assistance. Chicken dish was good. Not worth the fine dining price.

The restaurant was mostly empty and the two persons at the front desk wanted to go check if they could accommodate any more people, maybe limited staff?
There are no vegetarian entrees on the menu. Only vegetarian option was a Kai salad, which was tasty. Ordered broccoli and coleslaw on the side. Broccoli had a lot of dirt in it so couldn't eat, still got charged. Coleslaw was underdone, but ok.
Not a place for vegetarians or eating vegetables.

I ordered a chicken pasta soup, double stack burger, and very best chocolate cake for carryout. The soup tasted good but it had only 2 pieces of chicken in it. The double stack burger I was expecting to be lot better. The menu states "We grind fresh chuck daily for our hand-padded burgers" but actually you get two precooked frozen paddies. Nothing special but was a slight step up to McDonald's burgers. I requested stuff potato instead of fries but the potato was covered all over with rock salt. I had to avoid eating the potato skin. But the dessert, the very best chocolate cake was the worst dessert I had in my life. The cake was very cold and chewy. It seem like it was sitting in their fridge for very long time. I tried to microwave it for 30 seconds to see if made any improvement but end up tossing it in the trash. Overall a disappointing experience. I would not recommend.

Everything is top notch, fresh and well-prepared. The key lime pie is extraordinary, the best we’ve ever had. Service is always first rate.

Fantastic eats, Friendly staff, attentive and prompt service, clean modern environment. You definitely get what you pay for at this place. I travel-work and make it a point to stay in KofP Just to eat here.

Had the prime rib and the meal was perfect as always. One of the few places you can consistently get a good cut and the right temperature every time.
Shout out to Rebecca for knowing exactly when to swing by, professional to a T.
