Reliably great pizza! And if you happen to be there for happy hour (4-6 pm weekdays), well $10 pizzas....you can't go wrong with that!!!

I had a bad experience at Pizzeria Vetri pizza shop on Saturday with my elderly mother and son. First I ordered takeout for two pizzas for $42, then I got the takeout. My mom changed her mind, she wanted to eat at store because it’s raining outside. But the manager was so mean to us, she said that we cannot stay at store because I didn’t order enough food. That’s crazy.

I visited the KOP on 5/23/26. My party ordered a Margarita and Crudo pizza. They both had the correct ingredients and resembled a pizza. That’s where the comparison to pizza ends.The margarita came out first. The pizza crust looked undercooked, it was a mix of various shades of white with some pencil eraser sized gray and black spots. I look at the bottom of the pizza and it also looked the same. I pulled away a slice to take a bite but was so soft and undercooked it could not hold any of the sauce and mozzarella. I commented to the server it looked undercooked and they graciously offered to make another pizza. I accepted and few minutes later the crudo came out. The crust had more gray and black spots than the margarita but was also undercooked. The second margarita came out and it was no different. It may have been in the oven a minute or two longer but there was no difference from the 1st pizza. The few important things missing from all the pizza was any shade of brown in the crust or handle. There was no crispness or crunch either. I’m sad to see a place that carries pizzeria in its name puts out such low quality pizza for $18 and $22 dollars. I could not eat any of the pizza crust handle on the margarita. Their story and motto are just words..cause it’s not present in the pizza.

Chill spot for artesian fresh pizza. We also get the salads, meatball, brussel sprout appetizers, coffee, and tiramisu. Always prompt service and tasty pizza crust. Have been regulars for several years and still enjoy meeting here. A++

Perfection! Perfect crust, I ate the whole large by myself and felt fine after Well done Vetri!!!
Stopped in with my son for a quick bite on the way home from visiting my wife in the hospital. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food came out fast, which we appreciated.
The pizza itself was good. The dough was fine, but we have a wood‑fired oven at home and make our own dough with a little more seasoning, so it’s hard not to compare. For us it leaned a little bland, but that’s more about our personal taste than anything they did wrong. The ingredients were fresh, and the crust had that nice wood‑fired texture people look for.
If you want to try wood‑fired pizza, this is a solid spot and definitely worth stopping in. And if you want something with a little more kick… swing by our house and I’ll fire one up too.
