I admit the sales team are talented, but I asked NUMEROUS times what the prices were for the halva. The salesperson kept avoiding the answer, saying it was based on weight. I understand this, but she could have given me an idea before I was charged more than $150! Yes that is right, more than $150 for two halvas. I was so shocked I didn't know what to do, but everything was already wrapped so I gulped and paid the outrageous price. Honestly, I'm more mad about being misled than anything. Then they actually ask for a $20+ tip! I'm writing this so that other potential customers can beware before they are scammed like I was by these salespeople. I am sick to my stomach about the entire experience.

Delicious little treats, got some Oreo sesame recently that I’m loving. Only been here twice and had the same girl wait on me so I can’t speak for the other associates but she definitely tries to sneakily up sell you into buying a ton of sesame at a time. The first time I had her re cut it because it was more than I asked for and the second time she did it again and I just gave up because I didn’t have the energy but I’m not sure I’ll be back because of it tbh. Should probably fix this issue, it’s a big turn off.

Came across this place in the KOP mall. Met the worker Ashley who was very nice and gave us a lot of information about what they offer as well as samples of the halva and tea. We tried Nutella and pistachio halva, both were great! The lemon/ginger tea was amazing. Bought some halva and tea to take home! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.
Sumsum is absolutely delicious! Ashly was so kind and helpful. Every sample we tried was just amazing and we couldn’t get enough! Definitely a fan favorite

Ashley was amazing. She was very kind and knew all about the products she is selling. We stayed and tried lots of flavors of halva which were delicious as well as tea. We chatted for a while about the nutrition facts as well as how they sell it and prices. I would 100% recommend stopping by while shopping!!

Me and my friend ordered the Dubai chocolate to try it for the first time ever we thought it was promising until we had to pay $21 for a small bar. That was the size of half of my hand. The price was outrageous for a small bar of chocolate Coming into when we ate it. It looked off from the beginning. It was really messy and melted in the wrapper when we opened it and lt see how it looks like the kunafa was a bright green and looked translucent. If sumsum is going to be a mediterranean food shop they should at least get authentic ingredients instead of over pricing something that tastes very bad and looks very fake
