Tommy's Tavern + Tap offers a huge menu with such a variety that it can be a little overwhelming, but they use 3 kitchens to handle it. The food is consistently great, with standout items like the sushi, wings (out of this world), sliders, big pretzel, sushi nachos, cheese curds, buttermilk chicken sandwich with truffle fries, and soups. The wings are really good, and the cranberry margarita is enjoyable. The service has been outstanding, with management phenomenal and personally coming around to talk to each table. The waitstaff are wonderful, with a great conversation and a friendly check-in. The atmosphere is fun, cozy, and well appointed, with a good vibe and music at a decent volume for conversation. The bar is big. However, the food takes a VERY long time to come out, including appetizers, often resulting in a 2-hour total visit. The pricing is higher than similar places, and the food is typical for a chain. The good amount of parking and location outside the main mall section makes for less hassle. Portions are on the healthy side, allowing for leftovers.
