If you are looking for a very local, salt of the earth, family coffee shop this is it. Directly off the highway, it is more than worth the pit stop. Desserts are homemade by locals or the cafe, the waitresses treat you like family. It is old. It is messy and it is true Americana.
Perogies were homemade that morning. Delicious but you will need an elastic waist and to finish them.

Stopped in for breakfast. Pancakes and bacon were delicious! Coffee was hot and fresh! Service was excellent and just a cute cozy atmosphere for some good comfort food! Will be back soon for lunch!

So enjoyed this place. Great local feel. Great service. Food very good. Especially German chocolate cake! Bought some local honey and maple syrup too!

I only had a problem before new management came in. Foods been great so far at a very reasonable price. I LOVE their mozzarella sticks, steak and cheese, omletes etc. You get enough of a portion it could be two meals. Love it

Our waitress wasn't super friendly but understandably so, she was pretty busy. We did have to wait longer than we would have liked to order our drinks/food and to get our food, but that being said, the food was good, portion sizes for the prices were acceptable and the atmosphere was really cute with country/rustic pictures hung up and for sale. They also had chocolate covered pretzels for sale that were very good. I would say this is a good stop for food if you're out in this area.

The eggs were burnt and flavorless and so were the home fries. The service was slow and our server made absolutely no effort to be friendly. I hate leaving 1 star reviews, but this was just such a poor experience. I will not be coming back here, ever.

Food was terrible ordered a chicken cheesesteak it was so dry I could barely eat half of it they brought me A1 steak sauce that had about a quarter inch in the bottom of the jar, it poured out like mud I couldn't touch it. I asked for a new one they said that was the newest one that they had. All our meals were crappy and the service was horrible we'll never go there will never recommend it to anyone

Food was okay. We were a party of three. I had the deluxe cheese burger. Taste was okay but over done. Another had the chicken cheese steak which was real low on cheese. The third had a breakfast sandwich which, again, was just okay. Service was poor. We had to get up and ask for refills on coffee and water.

Beware of the hidden fees they charge, such as the extra charges for hoagie toppings and the credit card surcharge. The issue is not with the fees themselves, but the way they are not clearly communicated until they pop up on your bill. Besides that, food was decent, and service was friendly until we asked about the surprise fees. Next time we pass through the area, we'll try the diner next door instead.
