(Crispy chicken sandwich w/peppers, their slightly tangy Chipotle sauce on a requested bed of lettuce, was absolutely delicious as well as their overstuffed calzone) What sets them apart from other restaurants in the area is their kind, caring "feel at home" atmosphere. We will definitely be back for more of their wonderful food options and some great conversations. Thank you!”

“Busy Bee Cafe is exceptional! The food is homemade and delicious! April and Maddie provide great service with a friendly face! I highly recommend the Cinnamon Buns, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and Broccoli Cheddar soup! They have coloring pages and puzzles available for kiddos! My friends and I love meeting here for lunch dates! Great breakfast spot too! The bee theme is so welcoming and cozzzzy! 🐝 Busy Bee is an excellent experience every time! 🙂”

“Mates and I went after a full day at a local event. There was only one bartender, but she absolutely nailed it! She was also the cook, but was both attentive and quick. Everyone was taken care of, everyone left happy and full. We got the chicken parm and pretzels. The bourbon was great, the beer cheese even better. Definitely going to be our annual spot!”

“When they first opened I was not impressed but just recently tried d them again and was very pleased. I get the half sheet with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. It was excellent. The mushrooms are fresh and that makes all the difference.”

“Amazing breakfasts. Omelets are great, I usually get, I think it's called a breakfast bowl. Home fries, eggs, sausage and cheese all cooked together. Speaking of home fries, these are the best around and second place isn't even close. Slow cooked on the griddle I could make a meal out of them alone.
As far as there being no wifi, there is very good cellular service there. Use your phone as a Hotspot, it's 2026 man! Sounds like somebody just wanted Starbucks and wanted to trash the small town feel.”

“I can honestly say, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better fried haddock sandwich, a better drink, or better service than today. The food was amazing (this sandwich was massive! It filled both Adam and I!), and the bartender (Jared) was not only super friendly and social, but he also gave amazing recommendations on drinks, and was super attentive and overall one of the best bartenders I’ve ever been around! I will definitely be returning to Green Gables again.”

“My husband and I had lunch there on March 19. The food was fantastic. I had a Ceaser salad with chicken that was HUGE. Real grilled chicken, fresh romaine, lots of shredded parm on top and a small loaf of fresh warm bread that was included. Absolutely delicious. Enough for two meals. Hubby got wings that were jumbo and actually got 12 and not 10 like some other places. Crispy and not too hot. We got a pizza to go and that was great as well. Highly recommend.”

“The pizza is to DIE FOR!!! Never been here before we were on our way to Elk Mountain and stopped here on the way. There was a very nice woman who served us pizza. Unfortunately forgot to catch her name I was so caught up on the pizza! If anyone is in the area to go to their shack you NEED TO GO HERE! You won’t regret it, prices are also reasonable. Would love to come here again!”

“I walked over from the truck stop to get a slice of pizza, because I'd had their food a couple years ago when I was passing through. The food was as delicious as I'd remembered. I ordered 2 slices of pizza and a salad to eat there. Then.. I ordered food to go as well. The pizza was the best I'd had in over 20 years, the salad was fresh, the house dressing was to die for. (I asked for the recipe but that was a hard no.) So I ordered a salad to go so I could get more dressing. The waitress was perfect. OMG... The cheese cake is 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ as well. I'll definitely be back.
