“Busy Bee Cafe is exceptional! The food is homemade and delicious! April and Maddie provide great service with a friendly face! I highly recommend the Cinnamon Buns, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and Broccoli Cheddar soup! They have coloring pages and puzzles available for kiddos! My friends and I love meeting here for lunch dates! Great breakfast spot too! The bee theme is so welcoming and cozzzzy! 🐝 Busy Bee is an excellent experience every time! 🙂”

“With our warm greetings into this delightful restaurant we knew right away this family owed business was going to make our lunch experience worthwhile ~ it did not disappoint. The food was amazing! (Crispy chicken sandwich w/peppers, their slightly tangy Chipotle sauce on a requested bed of lettuce, was absolutely delicious as well as their overstuffed calzone) What sets them apart from other restaurants in the area is their kind, caring "feel at home" atmosphere. “We stopped by Hot Pies during a road trip through PA. I can’t emphasize enough how great this place was! Local pizzeria with fantastic pricing, and the foods to die for. I ordered a cheesesteak with mushrooms and onions, and no exaggeration it was one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever eaten in my life, and I eat a lot of cheesesteaks. My girlfriend got two slices of pizza (Sausage & Pepperoni) & the employee ensured to ask if she wanted a middle or corner slice - the slices were great too.

Food is 10/10, people are friendly and it’s clear the community loves this local spot. If you’re coming through the area I’d highly recommend stopping.”

“I can honestly say, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better fried haddock sandwich, a better drink, or better service than today. The food was amazing (this sandwich was massive! It filled both Adam and I!), and the bartender (Jared) was not only super friendly and social, but he also gave amazing recommendations on drinks, and was super attentive and overall one of the best bartenders I’ve ever been around! I will definitely be returning to Green Gables again.”

“Amazing breakfasts. Omelets are great, I usually get, I think it's called a breakfast bowl. Home fries, eggs, sausage and cheese all cooked together. Speaking of home fries, these are the best around and second place isn't even close. Slow cooked on the griddle I could make a meal out of them alone.
As far as there being no wifi, there is very good cellular service there. Use your phone as a Hotspot, it's 2026 man! Sounds like somebody just wanted Starbucks and wanted to trash the small town feel.”

“My husband and I had lunch there on March 19. The food was fantastic. I had a Ceaser salad with chicken that was HUGE. Real grilled chicken, fresh romaine, lots of shredded parm on top and a small loaf of fresh warm bread that was included. Absolutely delicious. Enough for two meals. Hubby got wings that were jumbo and actually got 12 and not 10 like some other places. Crispy and not too hot. We got a pizza to go and that was great as well. Highly recommend.”

“The pizza is to DIE FOR!!! Never been here before we were on our way to Elk Mountain and stopped here on the way. There was a very nice woman who served us pizza. Unfortunately forgot to catch her name I was so caught up on the pizza! If anyone is in the area to go to their shack you NEED TO GO HERE! You won’t regret it, prices are also reasonable. Would love to come here again!”

“Excellent little beer shop with a nice selection. Some decent pizza and other food to go with your beer. Fun place to go and hang out for a quieter night and catch the game. Convenient location right off 81, next to the gas station. Service is always good and friendly. Typically several good flavors of slushy every day.”
