“Warm, inviting, and full of flavor. Brig O'Doon is a special place tucked away and inconspicuously located, and from the moment you walk in, you experience something so special. Community members gather to chat at the family-style kitchen table, little kids are enjoying the laid back atmosphere as their parents and grandparents sip coffee or tea. The Chai Tea latte and the breakfast sandwich is by far the best combination of spice and warmth, along with sweet and savory, it is truly incredible. My family drives 25 minutes for the coffee, lattes, food and the atmosphere. The service is wonderful and the staff seem genuinely happy to be here, despite the lines and early mornings.“

“This is my third time visiting here- usually I pass through and grab a sandwhich to go but this time I met up with a friend and we dined in! I ordered a dirty lavender latte (I believe that's the name of it) and it was so phenomenal that I ended up taking another to go because I was sad when my drink was finished!! My friend has some unique dietary restrictions and is unable to have salt in her food or caffeine. The staff were extremely accommodating and ultimately, she was able to enjoy a meal-- which is often difficult for her since most places have salt in everything). My friend and I plan to make visiting here a monthly occurrence and now I am looking forward to making my way through the menu!Dietary restrictions: Salt free, caffeine free option.“

Thankfully, we had an inkling that they were going to be good, so we also swept up their last Chicken Curry pie!Take home pies are pre cooked, they just need to be warmed. She recommended thawing overnight, then popping in the oven 350°F for 40-45 minutes til warmed inside.I was looking for lunch, so haven't tasted their sweet pie... Yet!There isn't a sign above the door and it's small, so you'll miss it if you aren't looking for it.Kid-friendliness: For picky eaters, the veggies aren't overly visible! “TLDR: Probably fine for sweet drinks like lattes and frappes, not good for speciality or straight espresso.I popped in for an afternoon caffeine buzz, and that’s about all I got. I did ask how they make their macchiato, and was impressed that they asked “do you want that traditional?” They at least know what it is. So I got a double macchiato and it had a nice large dollop of foam. It didn’t have any milk added to it, just the foam on top, which is fine, that’s how some people make a traditional macchiato. But for that to be good, it has to be good espresso. This was not. It was too sharp. No crema. Just too much bite. I got back to my event on campus nearby and went to their Dunkin station and added some cream and a sugar packet. It was fine then. :)Overall, not what I would want from a coffee shop, but if you aren’t big into the nuances of espresso tastes, you’ll be fine!“

“If you're craving a smoothie that's more than just sugary syrup and crushed ice, head straight to Terra Cafe in downtown Easton. This cozy spot is my new go-to for a midday pick-me-up or a light, delicious lunch. First things first, the smoothies are phenomenal. I'm a sucker for the Happy Pineal, a tropical blend that transports me to a beach vacation. The Goji Yoji is another winner, packed with berries for a truly invigorating boost. But seriously, every smoothie I've tried has been a winner, bursting with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of sweetness. Don't stop at the smoothies! Terra Cafe's got your snack (and even your lunch) covered. Their banana bread is legendary - moist, warm, and bursting with banana goodness. Feeling more peckish? Dive into their empanada selection. The chicken, pork, and vegan options I've had were bursting with flavor and perfect for a light lunch. Terra Cafe is the perfect spot to chill. Grab a comfy seat, soak up the warm, welcoming atmosphere, and enjoy the friendly vibes. It's the ideal place to catch up with friends, fuel up for a shopping spree, or simply escape the hustle and bustle with a good book and a good smoothie. This spot is a downtown Easton must-try. From the mind-blowing smoothies to the tempting treats, it's got something for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out! You won't be disappointed. Pro Tip: They've got a great selection of roasted coffee too!“
