Our waitress was helpful and friendly enough. We got wings, ribs and a half chicken, the chicken was “OK” basically just cooked with barbecue sauce smeared on, quite bland but edible. The ribs and wings were terrible, very dry and over smoked. The atmosphere was dirty with a stale cigarette smoke smell. We are very confused as to why this place has such high ratings.

My breakfast was amazingly good. Breakfast bowl with the home fries and gravy plus eggs and bacon. Don't know how to explain it, it was just better than I was expecting it to be.

Wonderful server, but she was not responsible for the poor quality of the food. The overpriced brisket was very fatty and lacked flavor. The bourbon bbq sauce was very tasty, but couldn’t save the entree. The meatloaf was overly salty and half was left uneaten. The macaroni salad had NO flavor. The green beans are served in a vinegar sauce…odd. The honey cornbread was good, but $3 for such a small portion was sad. The milkshakes were great, though!

First time visit. We had planned on eating at another location but their system was down so needed to pivot. Had driven past this location and being pretty hungry turned around. Turned out to be a good decision. After opening the menu, I saw that a lot of the items are homemade. Our server Toni recommended the brisket breakfast bowl. 😀. Yummo. Pic does not do it justice. Home fries or tots with cheese, brisket, sauteed jalapenos, onions, sausage gravy and two eggs prepared the way you like. Yum! Yum! Yum!. The only criticism I have is that the meals were brought out at different times. We are already planning a trip back to try the barbecue sampler platter.

While driving down Route 30 we came across A&J’s Twisted kitchen. We stopped in for lunch and glad we did. The BBQ was amazing as were the wings and everything else we ate. The service was amazing. The owners are great people too.

The food was delicious but we really loved the sausage and the ham. The toast was so well buttered and melted unlike most places. But the best part was the staff. Everyone was super friendly. But the owner….the best!.

Had the brisket sandwich and it was awesome, I’d highly suggest it with the Bourbon BBQ. The cheese curds were also super yummy. Our server was polite and friendly. Overall a good vibe and friendly atmosphere.

Got meat trial. Brisket was ok but pulled pork, ribs and chicken wings were dryer then the Vegas.

This is a great little restaurant. The owner was so welcoming and I felt immediately very comfortable and at ease. It’s very laid back and feels like being in your family’s kitchen. The food was rich, delicious home cooking. We went for breakfast and it was the very best kind of classic diner food - I’m from Jersey so I have high standards for that kind of thing and I was not disappointed. The servings were also very generous. There are homemade baked goods for sale at the counter, which I highly recommend. Overall a great experience!

Bit on the “mid” side. Place was not busy at all on a Saturday night. No alcohol (which is fine). Service was excellent. Some of the food was underwhelming.

The cheesesteak and fries was good. Mac and cheese basically had no cheese. Side of salad (up charge) for a burger was not good. The salad was basically just soggy lettuce. The balsamic vinaigrette had a terrible after taste; I think it could be spoiled? Two people at the table tried and hated it. The Reuben burger wasn’t like a typical Ruben. It was just one large slice of brisket. Half was just lard and not edible. Burgers were requested rare - they were cooked around medium rare which is also ok. Water had a terrible taste. No one could drink it at our table.

Overall will not repeat.
