“When we visit Lancaster we always stop here. This location is the actual farm, they have the best homemade ice cream, milk, butter. If you're like us we traveled a couple hours to get here we always bring a cooler because we buy ice cream to bring home. Get a waffle cone because they're homemade and delicious. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are exceptionally nice.”
“Wow! This place was farm-to-table style dining at its finest! I highly recommend this restaurant whenever one is in the Lancaster area. The homemade Snickers bar is so divine!”
“It gives you straight-up old roadside diner in the atmosphere department, but the food is absolutely phenomenal. I enjoyed a really delicious omlette that came in a great portion with delicious shredded potatoes and fantastic bacon. I was quite impressed with the food and the service was great too. They have a giant pancake I want to try next. It's bigger than the plate.I'm already planning my return. If you're looking for classic diner eats and breakfast to die for, try this spot for sure. It's a PA gem.”
“Well done!!This place is awesome. The food was delicious, the ice cream… delicious-er.The staff needs to be cloned and sent to every restaurant on earth. They were patient, helpful, and genuine. And the elegant simplicity of the decor was welcoming and endearing.I’ll go the 15 miles out of the way to get to this place again!”
“We visit on every trip to Lancaster county. Love their pies, cookies, whoopie pies and especially their dinner and hamburger rolls. They also have good ice cream and will make you a shake. During the summer there is a food truck outside baking pretzels. They're also extremely helpful if there's something special you want they will make it for you, you can either call or order it while you're there and pick up the next day. Coconut cream pie is amazing. Pumpkin pie also amazing, and pumpkin custard pie is seasonal but definitely worth trying.”
“We enjoy the hot pretzels made on the property by very hard working Amish women. These enterprising women bring their children with them. We have dipped the pretzels in their cheese sauce. They are delicious.Inside their shop, are excellent products to purchase. Annie’s mustard is excellent. Some products are sold on Amazon but much more expensive. We visit the area a few times a year. We always stop here.We also stay at one of the Bird in Hand hotels/motels/B&B properties. The properties include “ free bus” tour of the Amish countryside with excellent orientation of the Amish people by van driver. We love this store.”
“Fast, friendly, and delicious food. Shared a soft pretzel with locally made sweet mustard while we waited for our Cheesesteak pretzel wrap to be delivered to us.”
“Reasonable BBQ, though you won't confuse this with Southern style. Brisket served bathing in au jous. Salty. Focused more on cost/serving size than quality.”
“Ordered an iced chai and strawberry smoothie. Both were delish. Got a toasted everything bagel, very good hand they were generous with cream cheese. Unfortunately we missed the breakfast sandwich window (ends at 10:30am) so maybe next time I’m in the area. Friday’s special was fresh cinnamon buns. They have a different item each day.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu affordable options”

“The food for the two of us was ready in less than 10 min. The pulled pork on fries with cheese sauce and BBQ is delicious! My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich also! The soft pretzels were soft and a definite recommend. The triple chocolate ice cream had an excellent flavor, but was perhaps a bit icy.”
“This is my new favorite local coffee place. They have excellent coffee, food, and service. Everything I have tried on their menu so far has been uniquely delicious! The atmosphere, featuring beautiful plants all around, is so lovely. The people working here are so kind and welcoming. I am absolutely delighted to have found this gem close to my new home. I recently moved from Chadds Ford, PA, and was accustomed to being minutes from Talulas table in Kennett, PA, Terrain in Glen Mills, PA, Ososweet Bakery Cafe in Chadds Ford, PA and Brewhaha in Greenville, DE all of which made exceptional versions of my favorite coffee, a mocha latte with Lavendar, and amazing food selections to go with it. If you know, you know. Poured Out Cafe has high quality choices of all of my favorites, matching, and sometimes surpassing, the excellence of those, and now I have added some new favorites that I can only find on the menu here at Poured Out Cafe.”
“My wife and I love Twin Valley Coffee. It is our weekly ritual to spend every Saturday morning enjoying a cold brew with caramel and sweet cream. The best coffee in the area and the service is fantastic. We also love to grind their Jamaican Me Crazy whole bean coffee at home. Simply the best!”
“This is such an awesome small eatery and ice cream shop! The staff was very friendly, and the food was terrific! Will definitely return sometime soon!Parking: Plenty of parking behind the eatery, as well as on the street spaces.”
“We are a family of 4 (ages 5 and 8) and we loved it!! Best part: a little nook with some toys and books. This made it possible for our kids to play and my husband and I could have a conversation without interruptions! The food was WONDERFUL, all of the staff was lovely, the bathrooms were clean and the decor and atmosphere are awesome. If we ever come back to this area we will definitely be back!!”
“The food was great the staff was professional and the place was clean. I personally had a hard time getting in due to being handicapped. No ramp. But the place is ”
“Wonderful relaxed setting. Comfortable and the staff so cheerful and friendly. Loved this place. Food was really good, we had the beef and noodles and the meatloaf. For dessert we had the apple dumpling with homemade vanilla ice cream.....did not get a pic, it went down fast and remembered afterwards! The food was excellent. The ice cream was the best i have ever tasted. It was so creamy and smooth. It was our 1st time as we were visiting from Canada”
“We took a trip up to Lancaster and Google the nearest pizza places. The reviews for this place inspired us to try it out and man oh man did they live up to hype . Great food even at 8 o'clock at night . Would recommend to anyone in the area.”
“I wish I took a picture, got the special -2 fried eggs on top of scrapple, sausage gravey and hash browns - darn it was excellent!! Great breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu!”

“Such a great place to get ice cream, Its delicious. Just be prepared to wait for it. They make one at a time and have to roll it out and everything. Worth the wait tho!”
“Our second visit to Pastry Paradise and their delicious baked treats will keep us coming back! Our Fathers Day cake was a huge hit! Super moist cake that melts in your mouth and you will be impressed with the unique and creative decorating! You won’t be disappointed!”
“Amazing ambience inside this Tavern! Fireplaces in each dining area, a sitting area for drinks in front of a cozy fire in addition to great food and an accommodating staff made for a very good local pre-show dining experience.”
“I need to talk about this new Mexican restaurant. It's different and authentic. The decor is simple, a mix of Mexican and practical styles. It's not about looking fancy, it's about the food. The food is excellent. The chorizo sope is full of flavor, spicy and satisfying. The tripa taco is well-made and tasty, even for those who might be hesitant to try it. The dishes show a deep understanding of Mexican cooking. Everything here focuses on traditional Mexican flavors. The restaurant doesn't try to be flashy. It's about real, good food. In a world where many places claim to be authentic, this one actually is.”
“I was trying to find a brewery open on a Monday, as we were going through the area, and this one was! It is in a great location, very easy to find and lots of fun stuff all around the area. The owner recommended we sit facing the window to watch the sunset, and it was beautiful, a cotton candy sky. The beers were all really good, my hubby got a flight. I really liked the stout with Wilbur buds in it. We ordered the soft pretzels which were super buttery and garlicky, and the mustard and cheese complimented them properly. My hubby ordered the chili, and said it was really tasty, and they use local beef for it. My daughter ordered chicken soup and really enjoyed it too. I had the honey mustard wings, they were also really nice, maybe could have used a tad more sauce on them, but very good. The blue cheese was chunky and yummy, the ranch was thin but the fresh herbs were a nice touch. The place was spotless, and the employees were all really attentive to customers needs. We will def be back if we come thru!”
“Great staff, delicious bread and sticky buns! Atmosphere is a bit tricky as they really have a kitchen and counter set-up, so that part of the star rating is tricky. Great food, though, and worth the trek.”
“this is by far our favorite coffee spot to come too on the weekends!! such friendly employees, coffee is always soo good and their lotus drinks are a fun tasty drink to have as well!the little notes they leave on your coffee will definitely brighten up your day!highly recommend if you’re in the area !”
