We went to Rachel's Roadhouse in Kittanning today with my 93 year old Mother...as soon as we were seated and placed our order we tried to have a conversation bit the Rock music was so LOUD we couldn't hear each other. I asked the hostess to please turn the blaring music down. Evidently she Manager refused to do so. We left with headaches. We will not be returning..it's supposed to be a family restaurant not a bar.

Very disappointing, I go to Rachel’s every Sunday or during the week . Could be 2 times a week . Ask for the same server every time. The hostess gives us a hard time because we ask for a specific server every time. Seats us with someone else . Our waiter knows who we are , gets us our drinks before we even sit down. The hostess should be busting tables not sitting people couldn’t even look you in the eyes , or go ask the manager if we could be seated with our server . The old hostess wouldn’t even ask us who we wanted , she would just sit us there . I’ve spend thousands of dollars at this restaurant. Very disappointing !! I will not be back .

It's Rachel's Roadhouse seems to be very well run. The food was excellent. Service was great.

Very nice atmosphere.

Everytime I go its a different experience. So it's a gamble .Sometimes ya love it ,sometimes ya don't. I didn't this time. If it could just be consistent. You take your hard earned money to splurge and go to a reastarount and you really want to enjoy it and feel it was worth taking the money. You shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes at the entrance for a hostess to show up especially when it wasn't busy . My drink for 7 bucks was definitely not made well. Last time it was good ,this time it tasted like so weak like water. . For 7 bucks it should taste right. Hamburger was not well done. On the bright side I've never had a bad waitress. They are always are friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is nice and music selection is great but just to loud to be able to talk to each other.

Highly recommend! The steak and mashed potatoes were amazing!!! And yes, a sirloin! Grilled to perfection 👌 Our server was very attentive and sweet also! Extremely well priced and nice fulfilling portions. The place wasn't very busy, which my Husband and I were confused bcuz, Def worth the visit!

Look, we weren’t looking for a life-changing meal. We were looking for a good burger and a reason to keep driving. Rachel’s Roadhouse gave us both.

The Plain Jane burger was anything but plain. Perfect proportions, great flavor, and priced like they actually want you to come back. Spoiler: we will.

The wait staff was genuinely friendly, the food came out fast, and before we knew it we were back on Route 28 with full stomachs and zero regrets. If you’re cutting across Pennsylvania and your stomach starts making demands, do yourself a favor and pull in here.

Pennsylvania road food does not have to be a gamble. Rachel’s is proof.

Eli the head chef does amazing. Consistently delivering top quality and well seasoned steaks everytime. This is our home town favorite because of their team and staff. Shout out to Eli, Courtney, Katelyn, Zoey, Abbie and the rest. Top notch

Yeah horrible service, took forever. Lighting at the seats is headache inducing. Good music.
