Down to earth, family owned, home cooking. Was so good. Very reasonable price. My husband and I stopped for our first time and it was very enjoyable. Highly recommend. Right off of 80.

The food was very good. Just like the name implies, it was Country cooking. Pricing was great and realistic. I did not ever see the bottom of my coffee cup until we were ready to leave. Missed that style cooking. Very glad we stopped on a whim and we will be returning the next time through the area.

An authentic country diner with great food at good prices. Everything we had was good, and we fed three adults generous lunches for $30 total.A few warnings: THEY DO NOT TAKE PAYMENT BY CARD. There is an ATM on site though. THE PORTIONS ARE SOMETIMES PRETTY BIG. I’m a big eater and I was stuffed. With most meals you probably don’t want an appetizer. You may even want to split an order. A whole Wedgie sandwich could probably feed two people comfortably.The only downside is that the physical facilities leave a little be desired. The dining area is unassuming, with cheap furniture and old flooring. The bathrooms are functional but not exactly inviting.Still, for the food and price I would regard it as an acceptable trade off for some local authenticity. And it’s really close and convenient off the highway.

Stopped and ate breakfast on our way to Benezette to see the elk. Everyone was very friendly. Service was great. Will definitely stop back again when we r in the area to check out the rest of the menu. Portions and prices were also nice.
