We needed a bite to eat after visiting Knoebel's, but didn't want to travel far and didn't want a big meal from a chain restaurant. Found this quiet, clean and friendly place. It was late at night, but the food was made fresh and we were made to feel very welcome. Definitely will stop in again when we're in the area.

Dropped in for a quick bite. Just got looked at when we walked....said hi, should we sit down...hows it work here? LOL. Got the Pete's Special pizza. Was good bread on the pizza otherwise pretty much an average pizza. Would try it again knowing how they roll now. Thanks.

Ok pizza place but not fresh. Everything is frozen and microwave are used here a lot. If looking for fresh italian,, go elsewhere.

Staff was incredibly friendly and quick. The pizza was great; hot peppers weren't just pickled jalapenos, it was chopped up peppers and more closely represented Jimmy Johns hot peppers (but better) -- had never had that before, love it.

Never even knew this place existed (as I'm not originally from the area) & so glad a family member saw it on our drive, decided to pull over & say we should try. I mean, I'm down to try anything once (truth be told I WILL be a repeat customer! I'm one of the pickiest eaters ever! I have a different palate than "locals" (let me tell you, I will NEVER again trust a local to give me suggestions when it comes to food). The pizza that everyone seems to go ga-ga over in town actually skeevs me out- it's one of the grossest things I've tasted! If given a choice between there & Domino's (sacrilegious as it may be- my choice was Domino's) actually, my only choice in this area when they were still open was Giovanni Gambino's OIP hands down. Since he's no longer around to my knowledge - Pete's got my vote! Once you win my stomach, you win my heart which will remain loyal to death!Frank was who waited on me, the atmosphere was nice, actually reminded me of family (so I actually felt underdressed in a tee-shirt & shorts even though I was coming for takeout- not at all that they made me feel that way, it's a personal thing. I'm a Philly girl, we don't leave the house w/o looking presentable but hey I wasn't wearing pajamas, I still have some dignity left!). Because of reminding me of family, I felt quite comfortable when he offered me to take a seat while I waited (which wasn't long at all). The smells brought back nostalgic smells of what I haven't smelled for a very long time! So the short drive to get to where we were going actually had my stomach growling - that's a feat in itself! We get home & break out the pizza- taking out, I haven't had the cheese slide (if ya know, ya know!) with such grace like back home! The grease is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l balance. Let's talk sauce (gravy/marinara) PHENOMENAL REAL TASTE- didn't taste like strait tin (I don't know where people find that to be actually edible?!) The crust (which I saw him flipping & with that doughs movement - you could tell it was fresh!). The crust was devine! I think he's very smart for not overseasoning like a lot of these places do (let's be honest here, unless you know what goes together - less is more!) He KNOWS he don't need to over compensate - it's a season to your liking (I wanted to try as is to see if I could even get it past my teeth). Very happy my family told me we should give them the chance & see how they were!In a nutshell, they've got a new regular!

The food is so-so. Owner is not the nicest person. Unfortunately, they're going to hate this "average" review. We used to eat here all of the time. Since his son took over, we've been there maybe 3 times and his attitude was horrible. Haven't been there for over a year now. I'll take my business elsewhere.

The first time I wanted to place an order they didn’t have what I wanted. That should have been a warning. I decided to try it again. The person who answered the phone was very rude, honestly I wanted to cancel my order after that interaction. This is the absolute worst salad I have had. Salad is usually green there is no green in this salad, all I got was the white part of the lettuce and it’s horrible. Also ordered a chicken cheesesteak.. there was no chicken… it was a regular cheesesteak NOT what I ordered either. Yup should have cancelled the order. Definitely won’t order again from here.
