“The other reviewer is right...the beer is cold! Rarely do I ever get served a Coors Light bottle as cold as it is at the American Hotel. The bartender Kat is so easy going and down to earth and exemplifies what a bartender should be like. Great service from her, good wings (I always get the butter, garlic, parm), cheap beers, and the atmosphere is so laid back--locals just having a drink and socializing. The interior is old school which I love and the vibes are really positive. This is the only bar I frequent in town. No bars in Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Brodheadsville compare. Cool place. Good people. Good vibes.”

“Went to Beltzville last night on a last minute decision. So happy we did! Area bars can be hit or miss especially with kids but this place was great! Kids loved the food. Yes, it is a bar, but they definitely are a family friendly bar. I can’t wait to go back in the summer when the patio is open. The food was great and very reasonably priced! Jeff, the owner, was very nice and came over to our table to chat and get to know us. Our server Jess was fantastic!”

“Sunny's pizza is that local pizza place you fondly remember from your childhood. The food is consistently good, the staff is always friendly, and they hustle to make sure you get your food asap. “Both our experiences with your restaurant were wonderful! Our first, was a quick lunch outing after a basketball game. We enjoyed a few types of your pizza and sangria. The sauce and crust were spot on! We received a red envelope (for future time in January) at the end of our meal. The kids explored the property while the adults checked out the tasting room. WONDERFUL STAFF! We were warmly greeted by 2 staff members who made us feel welcomed. We sampled your sangrias on tap there, bought a few to take home and enjoyed our conversation with Ysabel. Returning to us our red envelope, I secretly hoped Ysabel was working again in the tasting room. After our lunch (pizza and mushroom wrap with a bottle of wine), we headed to the tasting room. We were so happy to see the amazing Ysabel there! We chatted and sampled some wine…rather new to your winery, so this was a must this time. We really cannot say enough about our experiences here with Ysabel, she has such a warm and inviting personality, is able to have good conversation, and is a perfect balance of someone you want working for you. We cannot wait to stop back up and look forward to warmer weather when we can enjoy your outdoor area!”
