“We're local but haven't been here since it was the old hotel. The renovation inside is really well done. Exposed stone walls and hardwood floors. Music was good and they have a decent sound system. They have a small dining area in the back if you want it quieter.Everything you see in the pics was great except the fries which were underdone and nothing special. 75 bucks for all this plus a few more drinks. Prices were spot on. We'd come back.“
“The thought of it just dawned on me so at the very least, let me leave a detailed explanation here. For context, my father passed in March 2022 this happened prior to his passing. Some time in January/February my father called me because he was hungry. My father was mobile but that day wanted to use his wheel chair. I spent the days with him and would put him in bed and go home. This day he got out of bed wanting to make something to eat, eventually calls me and I suggest Dominos. It's the only restaurant we know that'll deliver after 10pm. I put in an online order, paid for it, put tip on the card. All my father had to do was wheel himself to the door and grab the pizza. What we didn't know than was my father was rapidly declining with an infection taking over his body and he was growing increasingly weaker by the minute.. That night he was feeling particularly weak and couldn't stand or carry the pizza back and roll himself to the kitchen. He expressed to the delivery guy he needed help, if he could set the pizza inside for him. Let me add, I understand the risk in todays world and fully commend this man for going above and beyond. The delivery guy didn't even hesitate, as I'm watching on a security camera inside the house. He wheels my father into the kitchen, sees my father was set up to eat in the living room, so he takes 1 pizza to put on the table. He takes the 2nd pizza and puts it in the fridge, at my fathers request. Goes above and beyond to move things around in the fridge so it fit. He then brings my father his soda and asks if he'd like it opened. He tries to let himself out but my father had to lock the door behind him. If that wasn't the case he would have gladly let himself out and my dad would have been beyond content with how he was cared for. It was a beautiful thing to watch in todays cultural climate. And if this review ever gets to you, I want you to know it's something I'll forever remember. To you, it was another day on the job. For me, it was relief that he wasn't alone to do all of those tasks alone, now realizing how weak he had gotten. I can't thank you enough for being a small piece Of happiness and smiles during a dark place for our family. I remember calling my father immediately after and both of us just boasting on what an amazing human you are. I spoke with a manager after this in hopes of being able to thank him directly and express my gratitude. The manager seemed to not be able to figure out or decipher who it was and wasn't willing to help me figure it out. It bothers me to this day, that you haven't been thanked for your kindness. Hopefully you see this and you know who you are!“
“We work at KU and the front door to our building broke. Your amazing delivery driver Bryce happened to be delivering pizza at the same time and offered to help us fix it. Now our door is fixed and the building is safe and secure again. Thanks Bryce :D Before photo attached “
