I ordered a shrimp empanada tex mex style. The shrimp had no seasoning on it at all. It ruined the whole empanada. I ended up opening up the empanada and removing all the shrimp and just eating the vegetables. I would not eat here again

I’m from Southern California, so I can’t help being a Mexican food snob here on the east coast. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Cielito Lindo. The food here has been much better than most Mexican places I’ve tried on the east coast.

This place has AMAZING flavors. Where they go wrong is the actual business running part of it. I have ordered takeout here probably 20 times and have never once received all I paid for. Even when it’s an order with 2 things on it. Always missing something. I keep trying again hoping they’ll get better but it never does
Very comfortable, clean and excellent service!

I just wanted to leave a review to laugh at the dude who cried that this isn't authentic Mexican but then said they should be using a Greek cheese on the elotes. Definitely sounds like he's the expert on authentic Mexican..

I'm not sure where other people have been eating lately but this place is far from authentic Mexican. The cooks aren't even Mexican but they think most people can't tell or care. I feel like people are being paid to give good reviews to low quality places like these. The refried beans taste like nothing, same as the rice They taste like unseasoned canned blenderized beans with water and sprinkled with a little mozzarella cheese. The burrito had hard mozzarella covering it. The orchata was tasteless and the elote had parmesan cheese on it and that's when I knew I had effed up. They could've at least used feta cheese but I don't think they care enough or maybe I've been spoiled by authentic Mexican food restaurants elsewhere.

It is a nice little restaurant. The server was friendly and checked on me throughout my meal. I ordered the mole burrito with steak. It was delicious. I will definitely be stopping again when I am in the area.

I’m absolutely blown away with HOW INCREDIBLY GOOD THIS FOOD IS! I usually take a pic of the food that I eat before I eat it if I know it’s good BUT I WAS LOST IN THE ABSOLUTELY VIBRANT FLAVOR IN THE BREADED STEAK SANDWICH! No joke if you want to have the best Mexican Food you have ever had come here please! (And order the Breaded Steak sandwich)
P.S. unless you have the spice tolerance of Matt Stonie don’t eat the hot sauce with the Crushed Red Peppers in it ?.

The food is fantastic. Seriously, just walk in and have them serve you anything, it's going to be good. Only negative can be loud college kids during the school year.
