We had a wonderful experience with a large catering order of sandwiches, salads, and a selection of smoked brisket, pork and chicken for a luncheon of 50+. The owner was very helpful in the menu selection and delivery. All of our guests enjoyed the food and the variety. My favorites were the BLT and the smoked brisket! I’d recommend anyone in Kutztown or those passing through to swing by for a delectable sandwich on very tasty bread and a wonderful selection of cheeses and meats. There were also lots of options for vegetarians / vegans in our group as well.

Love this deli! The food is amazing. I’m a particular fan of the barbecue sandwiches but the mushroom galette was worth the wait- it was sold out for weeks before I got my hands on one. The folks that work here are so kind and I love the store itself with the open door and radio jazz and classical music. I’ve always found easy street parking at lunch time.

My brisket sandwich was quite good, but my vanilla flan chocolate icing tart was extraordinary! I love most desserts, but this blew me away. From the buttery casing to the way the vanilla and chocolate complimented each other - I can't rave enough!

The owners are also extremely friendly. I bought a mushroom gallete to take to my mother later, and they explained how to reheat it so it would be like new.

I was trying to put together a Mother's Day Brunch for my mom who is gluten-free (GF) and I wanted either a GF quiche or a crustless quiche. I must have called 20 different places and found that very few even made any type of quiche let alone a GF one until I was referred to Colleen. While my request for GF was not on her usual menu, she was willing to make a GF one. Let me tell you it was delicious! Even those of us who are not GF loved it. And the rapturous look on my mom's face while eating it was awesome to see. My mom told me due to GF, she hasn't been able to eat quiche in a very long time. Thank you so very much Colleen for bringing my mom joy on her special day.
